Our choice of this hotel in Budapest was very successful overall. The location is excellent and made our trip much easier, which we really appreciated. The service was good, and the cleanliness, organization, and the room itself were all very good and comfortable. However, unfortunately, the view from the room was not nice.
We did experience one unpleasant situation on the first night. We arrived in the evening feeling very tired from traveling and were hoping for a quiet room and a comfortable sleep. Suddenly, we started hearing a very strange knocking noise, which honestly scared us. We were too exhausted to change rooms at that time, but the noise kept repeating every five minutes in a very unusual way. We informed the hotel and they sent someone, but it didn’t help. Eventually, we discovered ourselves that the noise was caused by a specific air-conditioning setting that needed to be changed. The problem was that my husband prefers sleeping in a cooler temperature, but we couldn’t keep it that cool because the noise would return.
This was the only issue that bothered us; aside from that, everything else about the hotel was excellent.

It is easy to arrive at the hotel using public transportation and taxi
also there is a parking
on the fusion street with many good food locations nearby.
I took some takeaways to eat at the hotel, and for some reason, part of the lobby is for the hotel caffe and they do not allow sitting there with food not from the cafe.
And there is no trash bin in the lobby.
I asked for another duvet, they brought some random blancet, I called again, and they had a really hard time understanding what "duvet" meant, then they brought it to the room, but I felt like they were mad at me for asking that.
The pool should be 26-27 (c), but it was less than that, so it was kind of cold.

I was very pleased with how easy and smooth it was to deal with the staff. They were extremely friendly and welcoming at all times. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. In addition, the hotel’s location is excellent, as it is close to shopping centers and major tourist attractions, all within walking distance.

Our whole experience was ruined by being placed in a room next to a family with a screaming child. Despite letting the night manager know about our difficulties, they would not engage with the disruptive guest. The same guest set an alarm for early the next morning which they let run ... which actually woke us up. This is a function of us being placed in a connecting room with very thin walls. This was the second experience in 2 weeks staying at the same hotel where a disruptive guest ruined our experience. 0 customer empathy! We all understand that these things can happen but the manner in which it was handled was awful.

I am a big fan of Kempinski hotels worldwide. This was my first stay in Budapest, but I visited the café almost daily. Elegant service, very comfortable rooms, and an excellent location. Highly recommended.
There was ongoing renovation work, which caused constant noise, and my room was located opposite the elevator, making it very noisy and uncomfortable. I was not able to relax during my stay.
