Very helpful staff and welcoming. Easy to ask any questions. Area is close to a lot of places. A 20 minutes walk to downtown.
No iron and iron board. When we requested it , it took long to bring it. Otherwise everything is wonderful

The air conditioning was not working, and the hotel staff knew about this issue, yet they still gave us that room. Unfortunately, we only found out about this when we checked out. The evening before check-out, I tried calling the reception to let them know the AC wasn't working, but unfortunately, no one answered.

Fabulous breakfast with huge variety and nicely arranged food, short walking distance to public transportation, the room felt airy thanks to the high ceilings, modern bathroom, great historic building with modern upgrades, don´t miss the beautiful stairwell!
Well the decorative printed, semi see through swing glass doors to the bathroom were not our style. you can´t lock them either. don´t know if those doors are in all rooms.

Palazzo Zichy is my favorite Budaprst hotel - a real palace, perfectly renovated adjacent to a nifty square and a walking street full of restaurants and bars, mainly occupied by students of the nearby universities.
It never disappoints.
Tip: the 1st floor features the high ceilings of the original palace.
Nothing to complain, only the (no) service at the adjacent Alma & Korte fine dining restaurant (not part of the Zichy hotel, where service is maticulous)

Very nicely decorated a fresh hotel, large rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast with a wide selection of food and drinks, free coffee in the rooms and lobby, rather central but quiet location
Elevator was very small (maybe 4 people fit in) and extremely slow. Most of the time it was easier to walk to the 5th floor through the staircase than waiting for the elevator to come. The ventilator in the rooms can't be turned off, only the aircon, but the vent is always on and it's rather noisy. It would need an expensive fixing or replacement so I understand why they don't deal with it.

The location was good. It is in a quieter area, with a lovely plaza nearby. There are plenty of places within walking distance for a drink or meal. The staff was helpful and there was a good selection for breakfast. We happily walked to all the major sites. If you are not a walker, this might not be in the best location for you. Our room face the sun and it was quite warm. The hotel has CENTRAL air conditioning, and it had not been turned on for May. The room was hot by afternoon. I live in the desert... and this was a hot room. This might only be an issue during the change of seasons.

Sauna was nice.
Rooms were very hot, no AC. Heated mirror in bathroom that you couldn’t turn off so couldn’t leave light on in bathroom long. Needed to shower in dark because of the heat in the room. Had to sleep with windows wide open for air circulation but noise in square was very loud. Hotel was inexpensive so it was a trade off.

Almost everything! The staff were very polite and helpful, the lobby was excellent and the building felt like it had some historical meaning (which would not surprise me).
Sadly, we had two single person mattresses, instead of a single large one. My friend found himself lying between them in the morning.
