Excellent location right next to the castle and absolutely stunning views of the Chain Bridge and the river from the oversized windows. Centrally located with Parliament Building and the river cruise within walking distance.
Just like most hotels in Europe, shower glass door is mostly covering less than 40% of the tub, inevitably causing water to end up on the floor.

Paid extra for Danube view room and wasn't disappointed. Hotel interior and decor were fantastic. Perfect location. Staff were friendly and very helpful with a couple of minor issues we had during our stay.
We heard a lot of random noises at night. Plumbing/air con. We requested to move rooms though and our next room was a lot better. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The location is the best.
Rooms are very small. Also if you are staying on the river side, the views are spectacular but it is noisy because of traffic. So tough call which side you want to be on. The cheaper side with no view might be a better option but you are giving up a lot because of the view

We liked the location at the banks of the Danube, making both Buda and Pest sides of the river easily accessible by foot. Kudos to the wonderful cleaning staff who did an excellent job keeping the room fresh and clean. We also liked the a la carte breakfast menu (French toast with dulce de leche sauce was excellent!). The buffet, however, was less inspired and seemed like an afterthought.
The A/C in the room we were initially assigned did not work. Maintenance attempted a few times to fix it but to no avail. After signing a liability waiver, we were provided the lever to the window (permanently shut by default) so we can open it to let cool air in. Unfortunately, noise from the tram and other external sources kept us light sleepers awake at night. Halfway through the 6-night stay, the hotel finally did the right thing and provided alternate accommodations. We did not ask for an upgrade to a suite, just A/C that worked to make our stay comfortable, but the gesture, albeit 3 days late, is appreciated.
The breakfast maitre d' (male, short crop hair) could be warmer and less robotic. Some front desk staff were friendly and competent; others not so much. The hotel evidently put a lot of thought and effort to distinguish and proclaim itself as Budapest's urban boutique hotel of choice. More effort should be made to focus on hospitalilty basics such as room comfort and consistently impeccable service across the board. These are the stuff a luxury brand is made of, not the pretense of a dark, edgy modern aesthetic with a sprinkling of glitter, stale chocolate truffles and free cheap sparkling wine.

Had an amazing view of the Chain Bridge (beautiful especially at night) and Buda Castle. Make sure you book a room with a view. Rooms are very comfortable and nice attention to detail. Interesting story of the hotel's history and construction. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming from arrival to departure. The Leo Rooftop Cocktail bar gives stunning views of the city whilst sipping amazing cocktails and chatting with the very talented and friendly mixologists and staff - a great team. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Location and view. Staff friendly and efficient.
Don't include breakfast. It's poor and costly. No bidet in the toilet. No place to make a coffee. Big useless lamp over the bed instead of nightstand.
