The apartment itself has all you need, it is a fully remodeled unit. Gabor was great in working with us to align on the time to collect the keys and also provided us good restaurant recommendations nearby. FANTASTIC location just a few minutes walk from the Parliament, the Danube, walking distance to the Basilica, grocery stores, restaurants, and even gelato. Even though it is centrally located, it is in a quiet street, quiet building, so you don't feel you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a tourist area. And, Budapest is truly a beautiful and very walkable destination. You will enjoy your stay.
Nothing, highly recommend it. Great stay, great host, lovely city.

This was an amazing stay! The apartment is situated in a very central location and is clean, recently renovated and spacious. Gabor was very responsive to our requests. We were allowed a late checkout with no additional fees and even upgraded to a better room as it was available. We also availed of the airport transfer service which made the journey easier and pleasant.

Nothing that caused me any discomfort. Would like to know more about the how to on adjusting the radiator heat. Not familiar with this type of heat which is very common in Europe.

The location is great, is very close to many places that are important in Budapest. The Host is very friendly.

Very good location! near St Stephen's church and city center. Nice build to recognize. Room/Unit access is convenient. Room interior is modern and function very well.
This is Airbnb kind. So people must pay attention to the actual room/unit address assigned ( which is may not the same as Gateway Budapest City Center from Google map ). It is better to ask how to get key or meet host before you arrive to clarify location.

As a 76/82 year old couple we loved that our room was on the first floor. The location of Gateway was superb! We were able to walk to the Chain Bridge, Shoes on the Danube and many other central sights. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The facilities were excellent and a washing machine is always a plus. Our host was most gracious to arrange transportation to and from the airport!

Our apartment was on the ground floor, well laid out, and was one of the advertised options shown in the Booking app. It was in a great location that was accessible and walkable to all we wanted to see.
Some important notes:
1. You have to coordinate timing with the host to get the keys. He was patient and helpful with the process as our train was delayed a few hours. Thanks again!
2. This was my oversight: BUT, you have to pay in cash. It’s not in the listing when you book or clearly shown in the app (or next to my credit card info used to book) but only after you complete the booking and get the confirmation email (and you scroll down a bit). So be prepared or you’ll have to run to a nearby ATM to be able to check-in, like we had to do.
