The location is great, is very close to many places that are important in Budapest. The Host is very friendly.
We liked everything about the property, the only think You should be careful is that the payment is by cash and I wasn’t very aware of this .

Very good location! near St Stephen's church and city center. Nice build to recognize. Room/Unit access is convenient. Room interior is modern and function very well.
This is Airbnb kind. So people must pay attention to the actual room/unit address assigned ( which is may not the same as Gateway Budapest City Center from Google map ). It is better to ask how to get key or meet host before you arrive to clarify location.

As a 76/82 year old couple we loved that our room was on the first floor. The location of Gateway was superb! We were able to walk to the Chain Bridge, Shoes on the Danube and many other central sights. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The facilities were excellent and a washing machine is always a plus. Our host was most gracious to arrange transportation to and from the airport!

Our apartment was on the ground floor, well laid out, and was one of the advertised options shown in the Booking app. It was in a great location that was accessible and walkable to all we wanted to see.
Some important notes:
1. You have to coordinate timing with the host to get the keys. He was patient and helpful with the process as our train was delayed a few hours. Thanks again!
2. This was my oversight: BUT, you have to pay in cash. It’s not in the listing when you book or clearly shown in the app (or next to my credit card info used to book) but only after you complete the booking and get the confirmation email (and you scroll down a bit). So be prepared or you’ll have to run to a nearby ATM to be able to check-in, like we had to do.

Really good location right at the city center, clean and spacious room and bathroom, nice cozy bed.
Easy communication with owner, prompt responses. He also let us check out late, which helped us enjoy the beautiful city of Budapest a little bit more!
Due to technical issues we had to stay at a different room than the one we had booked, whice was a surprise as we hadn't been informed on that. Nevertheless, the room we eventually stayed at was still at the same level. It would be better if the room was equipped with more than one pair of towels for each person.
