Great quiet and safe location on the island. Easy access to the city by high frequency bus or walk.
Extraordinary comfortable beds and pillows. Commercial grade fitness center with a beautiful view at the park. Very large spa with several swimming pools and saunas.
In the morning you'll find a great variety of food at the buffet. General manager Peter and the rest of the crew are doing excellent work!
We will definitely come back!

Amazing, attentive staff. Facilities were wonderful and fully allowed us to relax. Spacious rooms with Old World charm.
Some of the other guests were quite boisterous- loud at breakfast, in the pool/spa area, and at night.

The space where they organised breakfast was much to small to host all the hotel guests. The coffee corner was often dirty, the machines either didn't work or were very slow, the food was mediocre

I was given a room right on the corner. I had a view of the large park and on the other side, a view of the Danube, which looks towards the sunrise, with the dazzle on the water on sunny days. It was a perfect room for me. I chose to stay here because the hotel is in the middle of a natural park, and far away from most of the EMFs and industrial pollution one might find difficult in a big city. The large park is a beautiful place to walk in and ground. My room was decorated with colours I appreciated, and was spacious and had a clean bathroom, and the room overall was well-appointed and cleaned well. I liked the balcony and the chance to be outside and enjoy the clean air. As my room was so far from the reception area, which meant a fair walk each day but that was good for me, it meant that the wifi was very weak and would drop out all the time. This meant that for me, I wasn't being bombarded by a strong wifi radiation while I wanted to sleep. Of course, this would have been a problem for most people but was a huge plus for me. Next door there is a Spa Hotel, which offers a range of treatments based on the thermal waters and thermal muds sitting under their sites. Some of the treatments were reasonably-priced and some I found good benefit from. There were some staff members who went out of their way to be friendly and to help me. I recall now only some of their names. Zsusia (reflexology Stellar!!), Imre and Sylvester and Bernadette (reception) and Nina (breakfast) were all great! I could really see that they wanted to be genuine and helpful and that makes a very big difference to a stay when you are by yourself in a country where you don't speak the language.
The restaurants are trying to meet healthy food standards but are still using vegetable oils and white sugar. At least the food is very cheap. Some of the staff lied to me and then a small sub-set of staff members ganged up on me and started to take actions that can not be justified, especially as i had not made any error. Someone in their bookings department had made an error, and I asked it to be resolved or the sum I pre-paid be refunded. It would have been sensible to simply to rectify the situation immediately. Instead, the management has not empowered their staff to resolve minor matters and has not trained their staff on appropriate responses to minor issues. As such, certain staff members took deliberate action to make my stay worse, and in the end, the atmosphere this mini-group created, caused me to leave the hotel prematurely. The top manager did refund me the money, and I was grateful to be able to avoid any more serious conflict, but it made me so sad that these employees treated me like a pariah, when I had done nothing wrong. I had ordered flowers and a plate that were not delivered as ordered. Such a minor thing, but the flowers were very, very important to me. In the end I ordered my own flowers, and the Manager did refund me for the damages that had been done. He could not do any more to resolve the situation, and I was grateful he stepped in. I wished though, that a sensible policy had been installed so that on day one the problem was addressed peacefully and quickly. It would have reduced four days of shunning and mistreatment where from the start I had done nothing but ask for what I had paid for. I was assured that these changes would implemented. Some of the treatments that I had were really not great, and I found that the Spa has no policy to fix this, when that occurs. I would say, avoid treatments from Csilla. The mud packing is worth it but don't expect a lot of one-on-one time!

Hotel is clean, quiet, and located on a very beautiful island surrounded by nature. Breakfast is offered at a high standard.
the spa and the adjacent hotel are very crowded, and children make the pools quite busy. The restaurant on other hotel (not the one in the lobby) is quite dirty and the food is of poor quality.
