The location was perfect to go to attractions on both sides of the Danube. It is very close to Fisherman's Bastion and the Buda Castle. The room was very nice for the price.

This is our 2nd time at the hotel and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean and are cleaned everyday. Rooms are easily accessible with a lift.
Breakfast was lovely! Buffet style and luxurious dining with a lot of food variations whether its meat or vegetables, cheese, bread, yogurt. Drinks are also endless, they have a lot of drinks to choose from.
The lobby smells so nice and you can see the cleanliness of it.
Staffs are so friendly and helpful. Always smiling and shows that they love what they were doing. At the reception we met Lilla, she’s so sweet to let us check in earlier than expected and gave an upgrade.
Location, is the best! Minutes away to the Buda Castle, Chain Bridge and to the Fishermen’s Bastion.
Everything is walkable. Theres also a local pub and restaurant near the hotel so you’ll never get hungry.
Overall, we loved our stay!

Location was a plus, next to Buda Castle and the Chains Bridge. Readily accessible to Pest.
It’s a very personal opinion, since is located in a hill you need to reach the location there are stairs. Mostly Buda has lots of businesses with stairs.

Arriving late in the night ,when we got into the room we realized there was a bad smell inside the room ,it was only in the morning when we realized the bin was full of trash ,we let them know at the reception next day in the morning ,but they did not even bother to apologize.

Location was excellent for staying on the Buda side, yet being super accessible to the Pest side. Close to major bus & metro stops, but excellent walking everywhere, unless you're in a hurry ;). Breakfast was AWESOME, with a great selection both sweet & savory,hot and cold, with excellent staff ensuring items were topped up. Loved my budget room on ground level ( terrace outside). Decent size with VERY comfy beds & a place to sit & watch TV from. Good size bathroom. Aside from the very loud Aussie or British neighbor girls that left their door open, the ground level was good soundwise.
All staff were good, and super friendly, but Lilla at reception, & Kris (?) at the bar stood out!! The bar/lounge is a nice cozy place, and nice selection. Great customer service. Both professional & yet seeming genuinely friendly.
I was quite surprised that EVERYTHING was so clean....including the stairwells....never been in one that spotless or clean smelling!!!! I used the one from lobby to ground level & garage often ( room level & garage one lower)
The elevator from garage up was the cherry on top of this cake! ;) The river is literally 'right there", as is the uphill to the castle & Bastion also, with easy access to both & surrounding area with currency exchanges & quieter streets to explore, and the best views of Parliament buildings & Pest, at night !! No need for a boat cruise when you can stroll at your own pace, & stop for food or good Belgian beers. Try the pub/ restaurant right at the corner below the hotel PATER MARCUS...amazing selection of Belgian beers & really good food ( Crispy pork Knuckle for me)
I would absolutely stay here again if/when I get back to Budapest.
I had actually almost changed hotels to get a riverfront view, but decided not to, and stuck with the Carlton, and was super happy I did!!!.
