Excellent location!! immediately below fisherman's bastion. Quiet, clean. Great water pressure. Very hospitable. Excellent wifi. Huge breakfast variety. Must stay here.

The location is super quiet and perfect even though it is in middle of tourist hot spot. You can also get to the spots early morning or late night before the crowd for great photos.
Minutes walk from major attractions. Cafes and supermarkets at a short 6mins downhill walk. View from property is spectacular.
Owner Viktor is very kind and reachable on phone or whatsapp, addressed all our requests. Hassle free check in an out, and included light breakfast makes trip even less stressful.
#16 bus comes very close to the property and can be used to reach other side of the bridge. But if you are strong you can just walk everywhere from there. M2 metro is another option to get further in the town.

I really liked that the room was very large, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was also big and roomy, which made the stay much more comfortable.
I especially liked that Room 4 has a balcony — it’s definitely worth it and adds a lot to the experience.
The pension owner was kind and friendly.
Although I felt cold during the first two days, after I mentioned it, he explained on the third morning that there was heating in the room and brought me the remote control. Once the heating was on, it really improved my stay and upgraded the whole experience.
I did not like that during the first two days, when I complained about being very cold, I was told that nothing could be done. As a result, I was extremely cold for two days. Then, on the third day, I don’t know what changed, but the owner suddenly said that there was heating in the room and brought me the remote control. Once it was turned on, it worked well — but if my request had been addressed earlier, the experience would have been much better.
I also did not like that the refrigerator did not work at all. Even after I asked about it, I was told that everything was fine, but it turned out the fridge was broken and it was never fixed during my stay. This meant there was no usable refrigerator, which is a significant downside.
Regarding the location: for those looking to stay in the Old Town area and be close to attractions near the Fisherman’s Bastion, the location is perfect. However, for anyone planning to spend time on the Pest side, the location is not very convenient and feels quite far, especially at night when public transportation is limited.
There is a bus about a 5-minute walk away, and a tram stop that requires a longer walk with stairs, around 12 minutes. If you’re focusing on the Buda side, the location is ideal — otherwise, it may not be the best choice.

Location is superb: quiet, nice view, within walking distance to the touristic centre and in close proximity to bus and metro lines (there are a lot of steps, however, when going to metro station, but it is what it is ☺️)
Rooms are very clean and the heating was excellent.
Our host is very friendly and communication was very good too.
Definitely this is a place we will come back to.

Excellent accommodation in excellent location. Very close to Fisherman's bastion, view of Parliament from the room. Good options for public transport. Comfortable, well heated room. Perfect communication, very good breakfast. We enjoyed every single day.

Breakfast was simple but definitely will meet your needs, it's like having breakfast at home.
The location is awesome, but you shall know that there will be alot of steps to reach the location in case you were not traveling light like ourselves

Our balcony view of the Danube and the Parliament building was the best. Viktor from the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The location on the Buda side was great.
No lift, so had to carry very heavy suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs, but we knew there was no elevator, so not unexpected.

Location is right next to Fisherman Bastion very convenient to visit Buta area.
I like the location for sunrise and sunset photo shoot. Food is very good. Staff is friendly. Will be back again if visit Budapest!

Superb location.Beautiful neighborhood. Scenic walks nightly to Buda Castle area. Very safe. Viktor was so helpful with touristy things. Helping us find our way and good places to eat. Metro and tram are very easy to get to.

Great location near the Fisherman’s Bastion with a stunning view. There was convenient street parking available. The breakfasts were good, and the host, Viktor, was very kind. The hotel’s rating is well deserved. I didn’t notice any downsides!

Just short distance from Fisherman's Bastions and St. Mathias church. Bus stop very close. A nice terrace were you can enjoy a pizza and a bottle of wine. Victor very friendly and helpful. Small same breakfast bur enough to start your day.

The position is perfect: at walking distance from St. Matthias church in a quiet street served by public transportation (bus). The building is old and the room is quite old fashioned but sunny and spacious. Shower should be replaced as it is non working very well (low water pressure). Breakfast is minimal.

We specificaly picked this hotel after seeing the excellent reviews about it's location and the views, however we got a balcony to the street therefore, people passing by were always looking up. Just didnt feel romantic or private at all. Was quite dissapointed however perhaps it was our fault as we didnt realise that not all rooms would have the view to Parliament. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They were looking after us and knew if needed anythint they would help. Location wise it was close to train station, Spar shop if needed anything and most importantly few mins to Fishermans Bastion. However we found ourselves spending more time on the other side of the river therefore we ended up walking a lot/ communiting to all the shops, restaurants/cafes and other attractions on the other side of the bridge. There is a slight hill to walk up to the hotel however it was managable.
