The location of the hotel was perfect for taking walks to the river and many popular sites. It is also close to many shops and dining options.
This hotel was very nice. Just remember, this is a European hotel which is quite different from U. S. hotels. The rooms are much smaller. Our room did have air conditioning which was a plus. Breakfast was not included but you can opt to pay for it.

Wonderful
Location was perfect for walking to some venues but too far for others. Underground tram and metro was somewhat easy to navigate and very inexpensive to assist in getting to where I wanted to be. Breakfast buffet was beautifully presented with many wonderful things to choose from. I enjoyed starting my mornings in the cafe each day.
The toothless woman street vendor near Vajdahunyad Castle that took 15,000 (instead of 500) Florints before I had a chance to figure out what was going on! This is NO reflection on Bohem Art Hotel.

Excellent value for money. The staff were genuinely welcoming. The location is great — right in the city centre, easy to reach everything on foot. At this price point you shouldn’t expect huge rooms or luxury facilities, and that’s fair. But everything was clean and comfortable, and for what you pay it’s a really solid deal. Would happily stay again

This hotel is an absolute gem! The location is fantastic--steps from the Danube, an 8-10 minute walk from the 100E airport bus stop, close to the M4 metro line which serves both train stations and the scenic 2 tram. It's clean, the bed was very comfortable (I slept better here than on my river cruise), and the breakfast if you decide to splurge for it was an excellent spread. There's also a Nespresso maker in the lobby for 2.5 Euro a cup, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stored our bags on our last day to walk around, and when we came back, they had retrieved some clothes my husband had accidentally left in the room. The decor is just really cool and whimsical, and the room rates more than reasonable. A fantastic choice!

Comfortable room in a great location near the river and restaurants. Hotel has a really good vibe and the room came with a solid array of amenities. Impeccably cleaned every day, a solid offering! Loved the instant coffee in the spacious and well air-conditioned room.
The raised double bed was interesting but a little counterintuitive for a family. Ie. mom and dad climbing narrow spiral stairs to the bed vs raising the twin beds and having the double bed on the lower portion. However, the 4 of us were very comfortable with the room with the bed arrangement just a detail.

I liked the location.; down town in Budapest. Very close to main attractions and plenty of restaurants We were able to walk to most sites. It is also a short walk to public transportation.

Excellent location that is near many activities and near a tram stop. Great to get around Budapest. Staff were very responsive and helpful.
Well, the price was jacked up because of the Champions League football game. Pretty exorbitant charge, however that was all over Budapest:

Immediately felt unclean upon arrival, no one wanted to touch elevator buttons as they looked like they weren’t cleaned in year.
Our room had horrible hard beds that looked like mattresses were not upgraded or replaced in decades. Bedding was a throw back to the 1980’s no thick duvets. Rooms were not really clean and had various unpleasant odors. We checked out in about an hour as soon as we could find a hotel that worked for us. No one helped with our luggage. Front desk said they couldn’t assist, however when they tried to show us another room, suddenly the front desk manager found a sign saying “we will be right back”

I absolutely loved my stay at Bohem Art Hotel. I booked based on my budget. This did not feel one bit like a “budget” experience. The location was on a peaceful side street. It was close to everything but just out enough to give peace from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast each morning was delicious and varied. Housekeeping did an outstanding job each day. I hope to get back to Budapest again someday and would absolutely book another stay at Bohem Art Hotel.
