Position of the hotel.
Bugs, old and damage furniture, for a 4 star hotel is poorly on facilities, tv is not smart.

I liked the interaction with the front desk, helpful and on topic. Room was checked and cleaned daily (towels, bed made, free water given every day).Check-in and check out took 2 min each. Location grate, very close to Danube and to shopping street, old Market and Aldi, restaurants. Loved the tips provided by hotel for experiencing Budapest as a local.
No downsides, we did not serve breakfast so I can not advice on that, the room we had had an inner court view but anyway, unless it's front line of Danube you won't get a view....buildings are high.

The location is amazing just in the middle of the city, close to so many attractions and commuting means. Staff are nice , hotel is clean and tidy.
The room is super small, there is no space to place the travel bag and there are no closets to hang the clothes. This was very uncomfortable during my stay as I had to keep moving the bag from one side to another so I can walk, I had to re-iron the clothes and hang them on the chair.

The nighttime staff, Agnes (if I recall properly) was very professional and kind. The location of the hotel was also quite convenient.
Most hotels offer free coffee in the morning, but you had to go to the front desk to purchase a coffee pod to brew your morning coffee. Also, we had to ask for shampoo and conditioner as it was not supplied automatically when we used housekeeping.

Breakfast was great--excellent mix of items that were fresh and well-prepared. Location was perfect.
Oh goodness, the bed and pillows were terribly hard and uncomfortable! Couldn't adjust room temperature really other than opening and closing the window.

The location of this hotel was perfect because it was in a quiet neighborhood but walkable to the busier parts of the city. The staff was very nice. The room cleaning service was perfect.
The only thing that made the room uncomfortable was the temperature control. With the window open, we could hear the street noises and it was too cold. With the window closed the room was very stuffy and dry, which caused us to have trouble sleeping. We used the temperature control in the room but it just didn't help the problem.

The location was great being right downtown. Easy walking distance to all attractions in Budapest. We walked all over- to the parliament, St. Stevens, the synagogue, Liberty Square, and several restaurants. Always felt safe walking.
The bed was a bit lumpy- not intolerable but could have used something firmer. The staff was wonderful! Our electric converter died and they happily supplied us with one to use during our stay. The lobby was lovely and very clean, as was our room.

Breakfast was good and the staff at the dining room was excellent. also the front desk people which helped in every question I raised.
the room was clean. 2 complimentary bottles of water are very nice also. the location is excellent.
the size of my room was very disappointing.. very small. in comparison to other 4 starts hotels I visited, I expected it to be more equipped with small items which would make the difference like shower caps, cotton, coffee machine and capsules. The minibar refrigerator did not function. the only chair was not comfortable. I was surprised that this is rated 4 stars. I specifically paid more when picked this hotel.

Wonderful
Perfectly situated near the river cruise terminal (Pier 4 and 5), this hotel offered clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of storage. The paid breakfast was well worth it, and the complimentary water bottles were a nice touch.
Although the check-in staff showed improvement since my last visit, the overall experience still felt somewhat impersonal.
