The toilet was a bit smelly because of no exhaust fan. I'd recommend keeping the room's window open before the arrival of the new guest

It is easy to reach the apartment and its location is perfect as you can walk to the castle within 5 minutes.
Facilities like the bath room is a kind of old but still in good condition. The dinning room is in kitchen and it may be a kind of crowded when all guests are taking breakfast there.

The location is fantastic—just steps away from the Fisherman's Bastion and some of the main sights, which made exploring incredibly convenient. Breakfast was generous and varied, and since it’s a small family guesthouse, family members take turns hosting each morning. Over our two nights we enjoyed casual conversations with them and other guests over coffee; the atmosphere felt warm and personal.
The only downside is that some of the furnishings and fixtures are starting to show their age. If you can overlook a bit of wear-and-tear, the welcoming vibe and prime spot make it a worthwhile stay.

The host (Mr. Gene Hackman look-a-like ☺️)was extremely nice, very warm and kind hearted.

The location was outstanding for our visits to Buda Castle area. It was a 10-minute walk for our exploration of the castle area, and where we could pick up a bus to the Pest side to see other areas of the city and to shop. Breakfast was continental style. The room was small but included a bathroom with shower, toilet & sink; a comfortable chair; and balcony. We enjoyed talking to the owner and his assistant, both of whom gave us great information about the history of Budapest.
The bath towels were very small, and there were no face towels or bar soap in the shower. We had to transfer the hand soap to the shower as needed.

We had a fantastic stay! This place is a great value-for-money choice with an excellent location—right next to Fisherman’s Bastion. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. Some might call the decor a bit dated, but we found it charming, with a vintage/Provence feel that added to the atmosphere. It actually looks and feels much better in real life than in the photos!
The owner is such a lovely man, incredibly welcoming and friendly. It truly felt like visiting a Hungarian uncle—warm hospitality at its best! Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared.
I have absolutely nothing to complain about!

It is near Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastian. We have Parliament Building scenery on our balcony. You can drink something while watching the scenery. ?
Breakfast is awful. If you want breakfast, you don't think that you will eat breakfast. All of the furniture is old. There isn't elevator and you have to carry your luggages.

Location is wonderful, we also lucked out and got the Parlament view suite. Quiet, clean, some might call it a bit dated, but i'd say it gives more of a vintage/provence feeling. Definitely looks and feels much better in real life than on photos.
Breakfast is great, the owner is great.
I wouldn't call all of those minuses, just some notes to look out for.
It's is a bit up there from the metro/tram line, you're gonna need to do a lil 30-40 meter elevation hike up to the hotel everytime you come back.
The room's fridge was a bit noisy for my liking, but i just turned it off. Also the shower holder was broken, but im sure it's gonna get fixed soon.
The only real tiny minus is that there are two single person blankets, not a big one for 2 people, makes it hard to sleep as a couple, but it's probably easily fixable as well, we just didn't ask because we were there only for 2 nights.
