Safe not working so had to carry my money and passport with me
Insisted on full upfront payment of full amount in cash/Revolut (no visa or mastercard). Not allowed to pay over two days.
A single-bed duvet cover on a double bed which only covered half the bed.

We stayed in Lilla's apartment for 9 days during the holiday season (between Christmas and Epiphany). The location of the apartment is excellent, the subway is just a few steps away and the area is very well served. You can visit the main attractions by walking from the apartment - everything is no more than half an hour away. The apartment is very comfortable and is perfect for a couple. The possibility of having a kitchen allowed us to cook meals at home when we didn't feel like eating out (there is a fridge, freezer, stove, dishwasher and microwave). A compliment to Lilla for her availability and speed with which she responds to requests and for the cleanliness of the house: it is so clean that you can walk barefoot! it was a perfect stay and there is not a single thing that I would change.

For me the location is perfect! It's a nice small apartment with the main things you need for a nice stay. This was my 2nd time to stay here and will definitely stay again. The WIFI works well and it's very quiet. Also the sheets are comfy which is a big plus.

Wonderful
Lilla met us on arrival and explained about access, use of the apartment, things to see and restaurants and bars in Budapest. The apartment is newly set up with everything required, and was clean and well presented.

Absolutely great place to stay. Central location yet quiet. Immaculate. Still, probably the best of all was the host. Apart for the excellent communication, Lilla was really kind to guide us with with tips and directions despite the late check-in hour. Looking forward to stay there again. Thank you!

After having to cancel an AirBnB last minute due to unhygienic conditions, I booked this location last minute on a Friday night. I wholeheartedly wish I had found it from the beginning. The cleanliness was above bar; the location absolutely convenient; and host Lila was incredibly accommodating, responsive. and welcoming.

This cozy apartment in the heart of Budapest was perfect for a couple. The room was clean, had all the possible necessities and very quite. Even though we arrived past midnight the land lady was there to meet us with the keys. The price fits this apartment well.
Might not be suitable for more than 3 people. The final price was paid in a bank transfer, which caused a slight increase in the final sum. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Disappointing
The flat was clean and looked neat, the location was amazing and the AC really helped during the heat.
The fridge door was too tough to open. The shower drains too slowly. But mostly what was disappointing about the stay was the price hike. We booked the studio for the F1 weekend a couple of months in advance and the price was already higher than it would be at another weekend in the summer. Then, after the time for the free cancellation had passed (and most of accommodation in the city had gone) the owners messaged saying that they needed another 25% “because of the F1 weekend”. In addition to that, they wanted it in cash so the whole story looked very shady. There’s not much we as travellers could do at that point because we were afraid they would cancel on us if we complained but we felt like we were being scammed.

It was in the city close to everything. Spotless. I arrived at 2 am with my daughter by taxi and she waited for us outside the apartment . Lila Valko is such a sweet , thoughtful and efficient lady . I would recommend this place . I have to say that paying by cash should not put you off as this is a genuine place . Thanks again for making our stay a wonderful experience !
