Excellent location in a beautiful classic hotel, takes you back in time a century ago. Great breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable renovated rooms. 2nd time for us - we’ll be back.

Beautiful building with a beautiful reception. Many original features. Very clean rooms. Very quiet location. Lovely restaurant attached and well presented garden area.
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms

Location is superb, rooms are good and clean, and staff is helpful.
I do want to mention that gluten free food is clearly marked and they were kind enough to prepare for us dedicated gluten free french fries for dinner
The breakfast and dinner are ok in general, but nothing great, and we had a hard time eating as there were tons of bees everywhere and on our food. Not the greatest

Disappointing
- Location is great. Right in the middle of the town
- The building and the area is great
- Besides the stinking AC, which ruined everything, the place was clean
- The room stank, a very strong smell of something coming from a rubber pipe. Most probably the mobile AC. I needed to turn it off, and open the windows and the faint smell still remained after hours.
- Due to that, practically no AC. Or a dirty, smelly one, you may get all kinds of illnesses. As it is in a central location, I had a very hard time to sleep, because through the open windows I heard all the noises of the street. My weakness that I usually wake up to all little noises - that is why I go to hotels with AC.
- All the interior, furniture and everything is old. Not antique. Simply old, and a few cases broken.
- The bed was small. Not super small, but I am 1.95m and with my head to the wall, big part of my leg was hanging down at the end of the bed.

The location is very central with own parking. The main building is a nice villa with a garden. Decent breakfast. The room is relatively small but has everything you need and even a small terrace.

Spacious hotel and rooms. Good location for walking around Balatonfured and the lake.

Grand Dame hotel on Lake Balaton. There is a sense of history in the place. Easy parking and some very modern rooms.
The main house needs updating. Extension cables to run electricity to bedside lamps feels odd if not dangerous. The A/C wheezed every minute or so.
