The location was excellent. The food was very very good.
They do not provide housekeeping during your stay. I had a five night stay so would have loved fresh towels at least once during my time. May seem minor but they only provide in room coffee fixings for one nights stay. The clerk at the front desk was condescending when I inquired about that and also was very unhelpful when I had a question about the TV and AC since there were no instructions in the room and neither were intuitive. I had 3 rooms booked and the pillows in all 3 were paper thin and forget about trying to get an extra.

Location is the best part, directly on the lake shore, with a beautiful park in front of the hotel. Otherwise it's good enough, nothing special. They offer rich breakfast in the morning and cooked warm dinner in the evening.
The hotel is quite dated, old-school, "retro".

The location near the peach. Also, close to beautiful Tihany village only 13 minutes by car. The spacious safe parking. The staff. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. The private beach is very clean and beautiful. They quickly clean rooms daily.
The room was small. Dirty old carpet.
Only two uncomfortable pillows were in the room.

Location and quality of food.
Room was tiny but ok. TV and AC were not intuitive to operate. TV had no option to change language whereas other hotels I’ve stayed in did have that. AC kept shutting off and there were no instructions to operate. Front desk was not very helpful regarding that. Also, parking was a nightmare.

Breakfast had a wide choice, much above ***. Everything was tasty, met my expectation.
Reception staff was not really friendly, legs up, no question about my stay at check-out.
Some part of the hotel is very old, "retro" feeling.

Room was very new, refurbished. It was small but well equipped. We had a great view of the lake. Bathroom was clean and very functional, no bad odors. Hotel looks outdated from outside, but inside it is very well maintained. Parking in front of the hotel, a lot of parking spaces. It's not free, but well worth to pay it. There is shade from the trees, spaces are not narrow, and it seemed like there was always enough space to park. Also location of the hotel is fantastic, it's very near the lake and center. The private beach was small but nice to have. :)
Breakfast was very basic, and food was bland. It was just okay, we kind of expected it to be a bit better. But there are enough options.

The location, the outdoor pool, and the beach access. Beautiful. Room was newly renovated and clean
Rooms were a bit small and the air conditioner worked but locked so we couldn’t lower it below what was preset.
The service at breakfast and dinner was a bit lacking but I can understand why. Lots of people, a bit chaotic and felt like a school cafeteria

The food is great. We enjoyed the pool.
We expected a view of the Balaton.
We only saw it from the balcony. The AC unit was very loud. People can still smoke in the building on the side balconies.
Our room was right next to the smoking area therefore when we opened our window the smoke was coming in.?

Location, decent value, view from the room, balcony, very clean
Bed/mattress super uncomfortable, pillows terrible, climate control not work and room too warm at night. Housekeepers did a poor job, did not refill coffee, mostly just changed garbage and came at awkward times everyday. Other than at reception staff did not speak English.

Aircondition. Best ever. staff. I booked one night too many. No problem getting a refund.

Rooms were recently refurbished and they looked stylish.
Dirty under the bed (not cleaned - found a forgotten bra in the room), poor quality of dinner/breakfast - kids got food poisoning. The check in was 20+ minutes. (actual checking in). Pool works until 19:00.

Disappointing
Position is very nice, very close to the lake side. We also appreciate the private parking, even if in my opinion it should be free of charge, included in the hotel costs. Prices are good considering the fact that breakfast and dinner are included, but quality of food is not the best for Italian people.
We appreciate the swimming pool, but the personnel there was very unfriendly.
Poor value for money considering the quality in general, but good value for money considering the included meals and hotel facilities such as the swimming pool and the location.
Most of the staff is not speaking English and it was hard to ask for anything, even at the restaurant or swimming pool.
When we arrived, the room was not ready for 3 people and we had to wait for more than 1 hour to get the bed (not a real bed, but a small and uncomfortable armchair) done for our boy (teenager, not a child).
The room was very small and had a bad smell, like it was closed for months. The carpet on the floor was old, riuned and dirt.
We saw that other rooms on the same floor and close to ours, didn't have the carpet, and were renewed.
Moreover, the room was on the first floor, exactly on top of the reception and main entrance of the hotel and it was very noisy also very early in the morning, from 5 o' clock.
Personnel at the swimming pool was unfriendly and unpolite, The swimming pool is closing at 19:00, we have been asked to get out of the pool at 18:40 and then a lady followed me into the shower and into the changing room, pushing me to get out, not letting me event dry my hair, even if it was still 10 minutes left to 19:00. This was really uncomfortable.
