What one would expect from a Westin property. Great service; the accommodations were great, and everything looked cleaned and polished. It was very close to a tram stop, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. No complaints.

Breakfast was ok, so was the restaurant in general. The staff proved helpful and tried to make up for the dirty room. The location is central but quiet. Price wasn't too expensive after all, considering the poor experience.
Shabby, dirty, old hotel with communist-era look. The room was small and uncomfortable, and I even found a roach in the bathroom.

Location and staff
We got a nice room at the 15th floor. The night was terrible since was a wedding on the roof. The noise was so strong that we could not sleep and nobody did anything to stop or reduce the noise although our complaint!

The swimming pool is poorly maintained. Also not wise to have to go through people exercising just to get to the pool.

We choose a Westin as it was the last night of our month long trip abroad. We wanted comfort and amenities, such as pool and spa, and it didn’t disappoint. We also wanted something reasonably close to the airport.
Everything was just fine. If you’re sightseeing in Zagreb (we were not), then it might be a bit far away.

Need more attention on details on cleaning. Rugs looks a little rundown, the facilities in general needs a revamp. No concierge service.

We had a good time staying at this hotel. The room was specius, complimentary bottle of water every day offered in our room, as well as chocolate bite to end the day in a sweet way.
At check in, a nice welcome fruit platter was waiting in my room. Room cleaning service also good. Easy check in and out.
The hotel power generators did not start working during a black out as they should, people got stuck in the elevators screaming for help for a long time.
Also, doors shutting down loudly would wake me up very early every morning. Not just one, but many. Probably from guest, but it was really annoying.

The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The gym was excellent—large, modern, and fully equipped with everything needed for a great workout. The breakfast was also good, with a nice variety of options.
The only disappointing part of my stay was my interaction with the staff member preparing omelets at breakfast. I asked for an omelet without bacon because I am Muslim, and then politely asked whether the same utensils were used for omelets with and without bacon. He looked at me in a strange way and simply said, “No,” in a rather unfriendly tone.
I completely respect your culture and your kitchen practices, and I have no issue with the fact that the same utensils are used. My concern was only the way my question was received and answered. Since the hotel describes itself as a halal-friendly hotel, I expected a more understanding and welcoming response to a reasonable question from a Muslim guest. A little more kindness and professionalism would have made the experience much more pleasant.
