Awesome hotel, always clean. Loved the new hand soap, shampoo and conditioner pump bottles. I didn’t see body soap so I used the shampoo one… still smelled lovely.

Main road to get there was backed up, so Google diverted us thru neighborhood roads which took longer than normal to get there.

The place is very clean and comfortable. We had a little problem finding it since there was a little bit of road construction so we had to detour around, but we eventually got there.
It’s tucked in a really nice place in that little town and the next morning we were allowed to leave our car there as we went for a nice hike
The only thing we didn’t like is that there looks like there’s a woodburning hot tub that gets used in the winter time and we wish we could’ve tried that out. I guess we’ll have to return in the winter.!

Perfect location for traveling by car, close to the highway, but very quiet and peaceful. The room had a big balcony, amazing wifi, so the stay was very enjoyable. Breakfast was great, and you can eat in the lovely garden outside.

The check in process was easy. The woman working the front desk was beyond helpful and went above and beyond helping my husband with Uber things. The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel

We are returning guests to Hotel Magdalena and like it because of its location at the outskirts of Zagreb close to the highway, making it a perfect stopover while transiting through Zagreb without entering the city - but is it also well located for trips into the city, close to Zagreb Arena a one of the shopping centres. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well equipped and breakfast is tasty and filling.
For those with a lighter sleep the central A/C output in the wall might be a bit annoying since it is relatively noisy and cannot be switched off (an issue in many hotels worldwide). But we enjoyed our stay nevertheless.

Great location, clean, beautiful, very good breakfast
There is no screen on the only window in the room. The room was very warm when we arrived.. we opened the window to cool down and let the air in, and were swarmed with mosquitoes. After dinner, spent at least an hour chasing the mosqutoes, killed 7-8, found 3 in my babys crib which bit her on the face. I understand the hotel is in the nature and next to the river, but this problem has a solution. I see other guests had the same issue, yet nothing was done.

Clean place, good size rooms and basic facilities. The owner was nice and helpful
Location is far away from any central places restaurants or cafes near agriculture fields, secluded in some residential area.
The staff that seemed new at the reception did not show good hospitality manners and were struggling to find our reservations while we waited and did not communicate with any courtesy to make us feel welcome.
