The location is very comfortable and near for everything
They are no early check-in with extra charge, we arrived to hotel on 1 May around 3 am. (Morning) then we have to pay full amount to hold the hotel one day before on 30 April. We stay there 3 nights (4 days) the housekeeper give us free water only first day.

The room had an old world feel about it - like hotels of old elegance.
It could use an update with some more electrical outlets. It seems none of these European hotels have any night light in the bathrooms. Zero light in the bathroom if one has to get up in the middle of the night

Great location on the main square with the open market stands. Easy access to upper town and lots of great restaurants and bakery nearby. Breakfast was good and staff is friendly.

The place is clean and in the main city.
Go elsewhere for breakfast, that was a waste of time. If you think you are going to sit by those windows in the pictures at breakfast and relax nope, you will be told to move somewhere else to eat your breakfast away from those nice widows.

The stay was disappointing due to poor staff behavior. When I requested a Europe Adaptor Mobile charger, the staff was not cooperative and simply advised me to purchase one from a shop outside the hotel instead of offering any assistance. This lack of basic support and hospitality negatively impacted the overall experience.Additionally, when I requested a water bottle, I was informed that it was not complimentary and I would have to pay for it. These basic service shortcomings negatively affected the overall experience.

Great downtown location
We were there between Christmas and New Year’s, arrived after 5 pm when the downtown core was closed to traffic, so we struggled a bit with finding the hotel parking because it was within the area that was closed to traffic. We ended up circling the Zrinjski Park a few times before finally stopping and asking someone for directions. I wish that info was shared with me in advance because it would have helped greatly.

The location was excellent. We felt safe walking in the area. Many restaurants and shops and tourist attractions close by. The on site restaurant was convenient.
The bath tubs. European bathtubs are a pain to get in and out of.

The Staff was excellent as the location. The receptionist told us information about the area and gave us a map(game of thrones sights). The rooms were large. The breakfast had a big variety.
