The staff and room were nice. Swimming pool has a nice view overlooking the city. There is tram to the city center just across the street.
The swimming pool is closed on Mondays and it should have longer opening hours not just 12-20h. The standard of the hotel is more 4-stars than 5-stars, yet the value for money is very reasonable.

Truly wonderful staff, honestly, one of the best experiences lately, in terms of that. Also breakfast was great, and plenty - again, with a very attentive staff. Also appreciated the gym with a view :) even if it was quite a small one, it's a decent one for a hotel.
In some parts, you could feel the age of the hotel a bit; it probably could use a bit of an upgrade or refurbishment soon - but all in all, a great experiene.

Wonderful hotel! Modern, clean rooms. Great beds and strong and quiet AC. Rooms have great dark curtains so it’s very comfortable at night. Modern shower and lux shampoos etc
We really enjoyed our stay. There is a great restaurant near by (2min walk) called Batak
where we had dinner and great breakfast for a very affordable price.

Comfy clean and spacious, well equipped room
Pool closes at 8pm and opens at 12am - so we have not had a chance to use it when stayed one night only, but booked this hotel mainly because of the pool. Windows are extremely dirty in the wellness area.
Parking from the hotel for 30€/day when on level -2 Green Gold parking 3 times cheaper !!!
Breakfast is ok , but far away from other similar 5* hotels.
Deposit 50€ in such hotels looks honestly weird.

We felt like we've hit the lottery .. beautiful spacious room , full size gym and beautiful spa and wellness with two saunas , steam room , pool and jaccuzi, we will be back for sure !!!! ♥️

Location is convenient and staffs are friendly
The appliances are outdated, such as AC unit wasn’t efficient. Cleaning wasn’t done even the sign was turned on. Carpet was dirty due to long time use. Lighting was too dim for night, hard to pack.

The staff was very professional, friendly and everyone seemed to speak perfect English. The room and hotel were always very clean. This was a first class hotel in the heart of Zagreb business district with very good location and access to public transport.
All in all breakfast was good and convenient. My only comment was the service of coffee in 3 small carafes. I had a hard time getting hot coffee as the carafes did not seem to keep the coffee hot for very long. I have not experienced this in other similar quality hotels. Doubletree needs a different solution for coffee service at breakfast.
