Booked a room from Booking, choosing "I will pay at the property". At the morning of the day, I received a charge attempt on my credit card which I declined, as I wanted to pay in person. When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that my booking was cancelled (which did not and still does not show as cancelled on booking.com) So I was asked to do a new booking, with different rooms available and different prices. The room was nice, but nothing special, especially for the price. The room was next to the only ice machine in the hotel, so there was noise all night long. The room had 2 big TVs but neither of them was "smart" so the only option was to watch local TV channels as it was not possible even to cast from a modern phone on them, which is sad for the kind of hotel and room we were into. The room was clean but kind of empty, there was nothing at the fridge/mini bar, there were no extra blankets or pillows. The baby cot came without pillow or blanket as well. Parking was a bit expensive, but I understand the reasons for that. Just making a note on that as well for others who might read this review.

The location was close to the main train and bus stations and only a short walk to the bars and restaurants. The surrounding area looked a bit rough but it was safe enough to walk around at night.

Beautiful hotel near main plaza of Zagreb. Great place to visit for a night before flying out of Zagreb.
The A/C light was so bright it lit up our room and there was no way to cover it or turn it off. It drove me crazy.

The location was very convenient to the central city bus stop and the facilities were not luxurious but comfortable.
The location wasn't exactly city centre IMO, more peripheral but definitely walkable to the centre.
