The landscape, if you love plants and fresh fruits - perfect for you. The host, didn't speak much of our language(s) but we understood her. She runs the place with her parents (all of which are over 60+) ... so it's a little old school. They want CASH, will wait until the morning to collect the payment - but not nice about collecting.
The beds were sofa beds and somewhat uncomfortable, but had a thin IKEA style mattress which made it better, air was comfortable, very windy so we used the A/C. Lots of light early in the kitchen... SHADE in the kitchen needed.

We needed a place to stay before boarding a sailboat excursion at the marina. This property was just a short walk to the marina which was very convenient. The room had everything we needed for a short stay and was very quiet. Two grocery stores within walking distance as well.
Nothing bad to say. It was exactly as advertised and perfect for our purposes.

The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. I love their garden and they let us check in super early so we did not need to carry our suitcases with us all day. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Local youth organised very loud motorbike races alongside the houses at 2:00 in the night.

Exceptional
If you want to experience a stay in a typical family house rather than a hotel or no-contact apartment this is the perfect place. Even though the hosts don’t speak any other language than Croatian they give you a warm welcome and one day I found homemade stuffed peppers in my apartment on my return.
They have obviously been reacting to the critical reviews and have improved the equipment in the apartment.
The location is fantastic- Kastela Gomiliza Marina Beach is 3 mins walk away. The Marina is impressive. Two great beach bars. Facilities. Supermarkets and shopping complex 500 m walking distance. Bus 37 is the airport- Split Route- 25 min either way.
Nothing I didn’t like as such. A vine covered outdoor communal area would be nice as not every apartment has a terrace. But having said that there are benches around the outside of the house.

It felt like home. There was a beautiful vegetable garden with a grape vine as well. Even though the lady in charge didn’t speak English we were able to communicate, she was so very kind and gave me some cucumbers and tomatoes from her garden, fantastic!!!
It would have been nice to have a small balcony to have a view of the marina from my studio

Apartment was very well maintained and the rooms were very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids (even 4 adults can stay).
We reached late night but they waited for us and handed over the keys.
They were very friendly. I recommend this apartment.
