Good location
Good value for money if you are looking for a budget stay. Restaurant below is very lovely and good access to Split centre.
Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.
Entrance and access was a little confusing at first. The room is basic but it has all the essentials that you will need.

Very Good
Very well located, about 10 minutes walk away from the old city. Very fonctional flat. We didn't get a chance to meet with the hosts since we were running late from our arrival at the airport but they were really easy to contact and were really helpful : they sent us video to help us to locate the place, to show us where they hid the keys... They also gave us some advice regarding the ferry boat we were planning to catch to go to Brac. We appreciated the exchanges, so thank you !

The room was compact. The communication was good with the property manager. She helped in answering our questions and setting up our tour.
The AC wasn't working well. The room was in a dingy place without any lift .

Location location location.
There was only AC in the main room and it started to leak on us at night. Also the fees were very high. I just dont think it was such good place for the price we were paying.

Disappointing
The hosts were very kind & responsive and the location is amazing - just a short 10 min walk to the old town! Also the view overlooking the restaurant courtyard is lovely.
A few issues: 1. Wifi - it did not work. That is a basic expectation/necessity when traveling, so this was super disappointing. Especially as I needed to work during part of my stay, it was impossible to actually do this from the room. The hosts said that there had been a problem the week before and that they thought it was fixed (as of the morning we arrived), but it did not work. They then suggested using the restaurant's wifi (the one below the apartment), but the signal was so weak it disconnected too constantly to actually be useful. They then suggested going down to the restaurant to work...but that was not ideal. We tried restarting the router, but over our entire 6 day stay the wifi never worked. 2. Getting to the apartment - Many communication breakdowns. We didn't get instructions on how to meet up proactively. I realized this when our flight landed in Split. I called the host from the airport as we were getting on the shuttle bus (because they never finished helping me with my request for an airport transfer). He said he'd message me information on who to call when we arrived. However, I never received anything on my phone, Booking.com messages, or email. So, when we showed up, nobody was there to greet us and I called the host again. He asked me if I called the number he sent, which I hadn't because I never received it. He told me to then go to the restaurant and somebody would meet us. We do this, & the waiters literally look at us like they have no idea an aparthotel is above the restaurant and cannot comprehend why we're there - that part was really strange. I call the host again & say nobody is meeting us at the restaurant... We then circled the block looking for somebody to let us in, & finally, somebody met us. 3. Last small point - the pix of the rooms on the site are not labeled, & the room we booked was not the one we thought it was!! Super confusing & a bit surprising/disappointing.

The apartment's facilities were adequate, ok location if you ignore the nuisance of the restaurant.
Many reviews here say it was quiet but the restaurant played really loud music from 8am till midnight. Even with windows closed it was quite annoying. The wifi did not work and I spent all my data. The bathroom smells of grilled meat/fish (even with the windows closed). Our account was charged twice and it took weeks to get the money back. The bed easily falls apart altho we managed to fix it. To be fair, the host did ask the restaurant to turn the volume down, provided me with the restaurant's wifi code and compensated us with a bottle of wine.

If you want to explore the center of Split from one of its most prestigious spots than this is the perfect choice. The apartment is located in the private villa of one of the most visionary and famous residence of Split, Kamilo Toncic-Sorinj, who also build the now newly renovated concert hall, hrvatski dom, and other houses in Jugendstil around the center. Therefore, you can look down into his former garden and now well-known restaurant Perivoj, only 5 minutes from Diocletian Palace in the city center. The apartments are simple but well furnished and furbished. The people we met very nice and in time with everything.

Wonderful
Check in and check out were very quick, convenient, flexible, and uncomplicated. The bar area in the courtyard provide a comfortable and relaxing spot to enjoy a drink at any time of day. Location cannot be beat! Just outside the old city walls, but all the action is reachable within 5 minute walk! Parking is easy, and the harbor is only a few minutes' drive away.
Area around the walkway to the rooms had a bit of litter lying around.

The apartment is on top location, a few minutes by foot away from major attractions. The apartment is modern, equipped with all the things you need for a relaxing stay, even iron and iron board if you need them. The bathroom is fantastic with georgeous shower and the bed is very comfortable too. It was really clean and quiet. The owner Lovro was really nice, we came a little early and the keys were already there, if you had a problem or a question you could reach him by phone or email prior and during the stay and his response was really quick (in minutes). I really recommend the stay in this apartment is big enough for two (four) persons and for my next visit I will first check if the apartment is available. Really recommend.
