Villa Domina is located in Split, just a 5-minute walk from the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace. The new and renovated apartments offer luxury with a traditional feel. Our stay at Villa Domina in Split was truly delightful. Our host, Mr. Duje, was always available and kind, and his wonderful mother, Mrs. Dijana, welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality that we immediately felt at home. The apartment is simply charming – a perfect blend of authentic Dalmatian character and modern comfort. It’s located right in the heart of Split, yet just far enough from the city noise to offer peace and relaxation after a day of exploring. A warm recommendation to everyone who wants to experience the true spirit of Split in a cozy and thoughtfully designed setting. A place we would happily return to – and surely will, very soon! ? Very Good
It was small but actually charming. Had the requisite amenities and was nicely decorated. Centrally located and our host did find us some parking which was great. It was also good value because it was low season.
The entrance to the building was sketchy and was a disappointment at first glance. The apartment was on the fourth floor so lots of stairs. No lights in the stairwell at night which is dangerous.

Hot water only lasts for 1 person to shower but this seems to be the norm in Croatia given small hot water tanks.

The suite we stayed in was nice. Decorated very nice and kept up. Shower was great! The owner was very helpful!
You had to walk just a bit from the parking lot to the room. It was also a bit outside old town. TV didn’t work…

The decorations, stone walls, fancy rocks and stairs were all amazing! Nicer than the photos! The outside clothesline was a fun touch. Restaurant just outside of the accommodation, and bank 30 feet away to exchange currency. Host gave me a ride to the ferry. Very helpful and easy to get a hold of.

Excellent location and very accommodating for kids. Early check in and help getting items back that were forgotten when we checked out.
Not the easiest to find or get into at the beginning but staff are on hand to help you thru the process.

Duje and her family were responsive and welcoming, providing us with lots of helpful information prior to checking in and when we met to pick up our keys. The apartment was large, clean and comfortable, and an easy walk to the Old Town and all the local attractions.

It was very clean, spacious, stylish. It was within walking distance to the town center.
I would have appreciated basic toiletries—hand soap, shower gel/soap, shampoo, conditioner. Also, I would have appreciated towel racks or hooks in the bathroom.

Central location near everything in the old part of the city . The landlord is very nice. Nice apartment for 2-3 people.
Most of the pictures are not taken in this apartment, and the apartment was smaller than it seemed in the pictures, too small for a family of 5. The shower cabinet could use an upgrade. Summarized, The apartment was nice, but we didn't get what we expected based on the pictures.

The host was so nice and accommodating by letting us store our luggage until check in. The apartment is wonderful. Clean. Showers are very nice. It has everything you need. They have a washer and provide drying racks. The location can’t be beat. It is steps from Old Town Split. There is also a Tommy’s Market at the end of the street for any items you may need.

The apartment is comfortable and had everything needed. Two showers with one off the master bedroom was a bonus. Helpful to have washer to wash clothes during our hectic trip. Great location, just about 8 minutes walk to old town Split. The host was very kind to meet us and show us where to park. We used both the bed and the sofa bed.
Just a note that it's easy to miss the cash-only payment requirement booking.com, though it is noted by the host. So plan accordingly. Also, the AC turned off randomly at night and started blinking, and we learned later that we just needed to pull out and reset the card for electricity.

Loved the hosts willingness to accommodate our arrival time. They were super helpful in telling us where to go in town. We loved how close it was to old town and felt like an authentic place to stay while still being extremely comfortable for our family
We wish we could have stayed longer! Know our room was on top floor of tall building. So not for anyone not ready for stairs, but we loved it
