A quiet and compact apartment, less than 10 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace. Free parking in the street outside if you are lucky - otherwise at the Maritime Museum 250 meters away.
A bit tricky to find......map on booking.com shows apartment in the wrong street.

Close to old town and we were allowed to check in early.
Property is nowhere close to what is shown In the pics! It was very bad and smelly! Bedding was old and floor was dirty with worn out furniture! Towels were worn out and old! one of the worst stay ever through booking.com. The owner was greedy and was after the money in cash the moment we entered the property! Kept harassing us for money and didn’t even give us receipt or check how the facilities were. Very bad experience and will not recommend. The bathroom had constant smell of drainage.

Near to the Port. And to tourist spots.
Fridge not clean, still with leftover from previous occupant. The place smells of cigarettes including the towels. Beddings I think not changed and insects seen inside. And not enough toilet papers.

The host was great. We arrived early in the morning and it was possible to make the check in straight after arriving. The flat is very beautiful and has a vintage city charme. The sea is not far away and there are 2 supermarkets nearby. The flat has everything you need.

Apartment is 5-7 mins walk to town center. Supermarket is close by. Comfortable mattresses. Friendly host.
Stale smell in the pillows, bedsheet and apartment, it could be because all windows were closed before we checked in. Kitchen is very basic, not enough utensils for a family of 4. No toaster. No tray for washed utensils.

The accommodation is very close to the old town and all the tourist attractions. The owner was very helpful, even when we arrived later than the 10pm check in. The apartment is compact however, there is plenty of free street parking nearby and the pricing is very reasonable for the location. There is plenty of hot water, the shower, fridge and air conditioner all work well. There is a small travel hairdryer available also. The mattresses are firm.
We noticed a drain smell but this is very close to the old town and after a heavy rain it seems to be the case in Split that you get a drain smell. The accommodation is basic but all the essentials work- fridge, shower, air conditioner. The towels provided are on the small side but did the job. The Wi-Fi drops out regularly in the evening, this didn’t seem to be an issue in the day time.
