Bad property they cancel our booking when we arrive . 4 days before arrival i already book they didnt inform us that the room are not yet ready. And when we reach the place around 9:30pm they cancelled we are lucky because we find another hotel if not we sleep in the street

View from our 3rd floor windows. Coffee station and water. Nice shower. Extra pillow in closet.
Be aware you will need to climb a narrow staircase to access room (this did not bother us as we are fit and travel light). The live music from the courtyard went on until nearly midnight.

Excellent location. Right in the heart of the palace across from the bell tower.
Terrible communication from the host. I tried reaching out several times in advance of our arrival to Split with no response. Only after we arrived at the door to the lodging did we receive notification on how to get in. We helped another couple who had the same issue not being able to contact anyone. Very frustrating and I wouldn’t choose this place again due to that issue.

Great location! We ended up getting several musical concerts played below us (it is loud until about 12am) if you care about that, but very cool. Loved the location and a big room.
The steps in the bathroom are a bit treacherous with no slip mat for the shower. Slipped, fell down the stairs and cut myself up a bit. Could have easily been avoided with a better mat.

Wonderful small hotel within the old city! We had the top floor room with the great balcony which was worth the extra splurge. The view from there was super and it even had some nice chairs. Comfortable bed, bedding, & pillows was great. Wifi was super fast up & down. We loved the coffee/water station in the 3rd floor landing, very cool of the hotel to offer this. *we didn't find the rooms to be noisy even with their very central location.
The process for check-in could have been clearer. When arriving at the property, we weren't sure how to get in. We did work it out with the freindly host/manager via whatsapp, so it turned out fine, but would have been nice to know the details ahead of time.

The apartment is within the Diocletian Palace walls. We had difficulty locating it because GPS doesn't work well with tall walls and streets so close together, it was a delightful surprise. Clean and comfortable with much needed AC. A real coffee machine (not instant) on the third floor, also tea and cookies. Quiet enough at night even so close to the street. There was a discount coupon for breakfast at a nearby restaurant, but we left too early that morning to use it.
The bathroom was on three levels and a little difficult to maneuver especially for senior travelers.

My best friend and I really loved this little gem of a place!! We stayed twice, once before our catamaran sail, and again afterwards.
The view from our windows on the 3rd floor were epic! Looking directly at the bell tower. We also really enjoyed the LOUD bells at various times, and sometimes we slept through our alarms, but the bell tower got us up and running!!
This was a self-check-in process and the communication was excellent throughout the whole experience. Our many questions were answered promptly.
The location is spectacular. Right in the middle of everything. And you kind of feel like your within a palace. It's directly above a Gelato shop, so that's a plus..
PLEASE read reviews and descriptions for your room. Our room was 3rd floor, so that was 6 sets of stairs, in a VERY tight stone spiral staircase. I had a heavy roller board, so this took some major effort!! Also keep in mind, the location is in the heart of the old city, which means steps, stairs, cobblestones....with luggage... and taxis cannot reach the location so its physically challenging to get there, and especially if you are elderly or out of shape.
The hike up the stairs, with large luggage, Lol. But I already knew this beforehand so that's my out-of-shape problem.

Amazing location next to the main square of the palace, minutes from everything, including the ferry terminals. Value was exceptional for a mid-May booking. Loved having access to the kitchenette for coffee. Wish we could have stayed forever.

Amazing location, the view was spectacular and the shower was perfect (nice and hot and great water pressure)
The beds feel like they haven't been replaced in years, and sag significantly in the middle
The shared 'kitchen' was right in front of our room so we had a lot of noise when it was used by other guests there is also no sink here so no place to clean up or leave used kitchen items.
We were advised the room would be cleaned and towels replaced on the 2nd day of our 5 day stay and this never happened. I normally am ok with this but when we are told it will happen and when we are there for that length of time I would expect the room to be cleaned once

It was next to a good icecream shop.
We stayed on the fourth floor. After the third flight of steps there were no lights on so it was challenging. On entering the room it clearly was not going to be a luxury apartment. The toilet was dirty and there were ants on the floor. Very small space overall. I did not sleep at all because of the noise which I think was the wind making different parts of the building rattle and screech. There was a ceiling light that stayed on which also seemed strange. We had no physical contact with staff. During the sleepless night I would have loved a cup of tea but that would require going down the winding stairs.
