Great hotel at great location, right at the entrance to the Diocletian Palace. Spacious rooms, very clean. Off-season breakfast is a la carte, delicious (pre-order day before from various choices).
Heating was very good (January)
No slippers; no kettle; no coffee maker in the room.

The location in Old Town Split is incredibly convenient!
The only negative I can say is that you are unable to adjust the heat (We stayed in December) The heat was 25° and it was way too hot, and no way to turn the temperature down. When I asked staff if it was possible to turn the heat down, they said it was not possible as it was a central heating system and all rooms are the same temperature. Their recommendation was to sleep with a window open, which seemed like a big waste of energy to me, but thats what we had to do.

Staying inside the walled palace was amazing. Everything we wanted to visit was literally steps away. Breakfast was great!!! And the staff was charming, polite and helpful! There is even an elevator once you get inside the hotel!
I was getting worried about several recent negative reviews- but with 8 women taking up 4 rooms, we really got to see what a nice hotel this is!
The only warning I would give is that getting to hotel requires lots of up and down steps- (once in the hotel there is an elevator) but going up and down steps will be true for most of the hotels located in inside the Palace.

Super nice staff! We had to book this last minute and they were extremely accommodating. Our room was large and clean and the sauna was a plus. Breakfast was great and they even have it until 10:30am which is a huge plus. This is a great location, a little hard to find at first but it’s safe and tucked away from the business of old town.
The hottub wasn’t working / filled which was a bummer but we assumed it was because of the off season but that would’ve been super great to have had

The location of the hotel is just plain superb: it is inside the Diocletian palace very close to the South entrance, the beach side. Room was comfortable and the breakfast good and abundant. Staff were helpful.
The internet could have been stronger; many times even broke up.

Amazing location near the Palace, and the breakfast provided was excellent with large selection.
Stairs can be troublesome if traveling heavy. Location could be difficult to find if it is your first time to Split

The staff was the best part of our stay! They were so friendly and helpful to three ladies who had no idea what they were doing. LOL! The breakfast was huge and delicious!!! We were able to eat inside or outside on the cobblestone streets. I would definitely stay here again!!
The parking is tricky so make sure and talk to the hotel on where to park your car. They were very accommodating and helpful with directions to two hotel parking spots.

We loved the breakfast buffet, it's contents and presentation.
Size of the rooms were smaller and some of the ceilings were lower than expected.
