Rooms were spacious, breakfast was really good, staff was great with prompt service and hotel is 5 min walk from Riva
Rooms had foul smell coming from bathroom every time we entered and need to open the windows for smell to go. Beds and pillows were bit uncomfortable (thick pillows). No hot water kettle, complimentary tea or coffee in the room. Internet code given did not work.

Dear Sir/Madam, Our experience with the hotel has been nothing short of traumatic. From not being able to enter our room on time due to it not being ready, to finding out that the hotel bar was not operational and meals were not being served, to encountering deteriorated furniture in one of the rooms which the staff replaced with another room where we faced a flooding issue due to a bathroom malfunction our ordeal has been extensive. Regrettably, the issues did not end there. We were confronted with the unpleasant surprise of inaccuracies in the hotel's portrayal on booking.com. Promised amenities such as sunbathing facilities and other activities available for an additional charge were not as stated. Furthermore, it is worth noting that our interactions with the staff were less than satisfactory, displaying low levels of service and professionalism. Given the circumstances, we assume that the staff is dealing with challenging working conditions, thereby compromising the overall quality of service. Based on our experiences, we must express that the hotel does not live up to its advertised four-star rating. Realistically speaking, the entirety of the hotel's facilities would barely warrant a two-star classification, let alone the four stars it claims. Unfortunately, our stay has been nothing short of traumatic, leaving a lasting negative impression. We kindly urge you to consider our feedback and take corrective measures to enhance the quality of service provided. The location was great as far as walking into the town although it was very noisy because of the car park outside which is also a positive as you have parking nearby. The breakfast was brilliant.
Extremely old fashioned and tired. The room was large but everything inside was tired, worn out and even smelled old. There was the weirdest shower cubicle I have ever seen and was even dangerous as you could not step in to it safely as it was so high and we are both 6ft tall. The plug was blocked as the water did not run out and I would never have used the spa part of it as it is so old it would be full of germs and bacteria. The toilet was tiny and had no fan or window. The air conditioning was on but was very poor and was controlled by the reception not inside the room. No coffee/tea making facilities. We stayed in junior suite which was the room by the lift so it was super noisy, I could have joined in with peoples conversations through the door. Such a lot if money for probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it is not 4 star! Really needs updating and a total refresh.

Staff were really helpful, the location was great and the breakfast was amazing. The room and bathroom was quite large.
The toilet was running water but wasn't too noisy. The air con wouldn't turn on, however, I'm sure that if I had asked the staff for help they would have sorted it out. Wasn't a big deal for me.

Breakfast was not bad at all, had even a couple vegan options for me which was great! The room was well decorated and spacious, the staff extremely friendly and helpful!
The wifi really wasnt great but thats my only real negative remark! Otherwise loved it!
