Beautiful, clean, comfortable room with friendly knowledgeable, all female staff.

Great location, close to main attractions. Clean, modern room with large bathroom. Big comfortable bed. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast provided, there was a good selection and the omelettes were very good. Friendly, helpful staff.

We loved our stay at Balatura The Fine Bed&Breakfast. Our host greeted us warmly and was so accommodating to us. We needed help with laundry (after just completing a week at sail), and they were able to do for us same day. Our room was gorgeous, we had plenty of space, and were quite comfortable. The walk over to the historic old town was short and fun to walk through the local market. The breakfasts were so nice! We loved learning this is a family-run business, and the history of the property. The host was so sweet as she noticed my husband's birthday when she checked us in, and surprised us at breakfast with a small piece of cake for him :)
Visible graffiti all around the streets outside of the historic old town was unexpected. Our host reassured us the neighborhood was quite safe, and we did feel safe after our few days visit. We would still highly recommend, and would stay here again no question.
