Wonderful
The hosts were the friendliest and kindest pair you could ever have met. They waited on us hand and foot and we open to all our flexible needs, even when travel plans changed last minute. Even told us about the history of the region! provided clear communication throughout and made life very pleasant and simple. Beautiful house in a quiet area too.
Only one thing, which is it would have been nice to have some facilities for washing up our mugs and bowls after breakfast, but used the kettle and our bathroom sink so no problem!

Amazing hosts, very kind and they gave as a lot of nice emotions because of details (wine and water by arryving, they even organized barbeque for us in the garden. The place is extremely peaceful, green and rooms have antique furniture. Very close to oldtown, very close to Marjan hill trails. We took 2-bedrooms apartment with kitchen, i suppose, this is a best choice, because we had enough space for everything. Well equiped kitchen, very good linen for beds. Absolutely nice restaurant very close (a lot of them, but one was especially good) on the narrow street with steps. The hosts made very good impression about croatian people.
Is not possible to pay with card, what is a bit uncomfortable for people like me (who not uses cash at all)

Great location next to old town and city life (just a 5 min walk) but very quiet, beautiful house with garden, authentic and rustic furniture which gave it the cozy atmosphere.
For us the check out at 10AM was early since the check in the day before was at 8PM due to travel complications. Asked but unfortunately it could not be extended for one hour.

We had a lovely time at Villa Rosa. The owners are an elderly couple and the room has an 'antique' feel to it, hence we felt like visiting our grandparents for the weekend.:-) They are sweet people and took a very good care of us. The room is spacious and very clean; bathroom good size, fridge had water and a welcoming bottle of wine. Room had a balcony, air con and wi-fi, everything you need. Location is fab! 5 min walk into Varo, the old town centre. From the ferry port we called an uber to get to the apartment. Paid 6. Do not get the taxis waiting at the port! They charge 20. We only spent 2 nights in Split, and did many activities during the day, so spent a very little time in the apartment...but it was very comfortable and lovely to get back there after a long active day. Highly recommend it! They accept cash only!!!

Owners are extremely helpful and kind. If you need anything at all just ask them and they do their best to help you out. Location is brilliant a short walk to most places you would want to go yet still away from any roads with a lot of foot traffic so there isn't a lot of noise disturbing you.

We were very well welcomed by the owners at Apartments Villa Rosa. They even offered us some water and wine. We had an apartment and a room : both places were spacious, clean and nice. Short walk to the city center, and such a nice walk in typical croatian streets. Definitely recommend to stay there.

There was a small miscommunication that I should have just showed up to the place and it would have been handled. Aside from that, this place was so perfect. The hosts were the nicest people and treated us like family. Location was awesome, place was spotless, but they were so nice to us, it completed the stay. You might not be able to get an early check-in, because they are so adamant about making sure the place is spotless for the next guest.
