Wonderful
Very kind host, I had to leave early and he prepared a little breakfast to go. Small room, but was clean and had everything you need. Location felt safe for woman traveling alone.

- location is easy to find
- great location, as its in the old city centre of Split
- great breakfast: many fresh delicious fruits and healthy food (natural jogurt, msli et cetera)
- extraordinary interior design
1. Unfortunately, the shower didnt work properly: the temperature was constantly changing from cold to hot and the other way around, although I didnt touched the mixer tap. It was quite dangerous to keep on showering, as the heat was about to boil my skin and hair due to the quick temperature change.
2. I was biten by mosquites several times during the night, as none of the windows has mosquito protection. Although I killed 3 mosquitos during the night, I couldnt get all.
3. breakfast: as the jug with juice wasnt covered, unfortunately, a fruit fly was swimming in my juice

Location
It was dirty. Cluttered. Dark as in no or little lighting. I tripped up & stubbed toe on stairs as so dark.
It gave off bad vibes. The stairway upstairs was so narrow and steep I couldn't get my suitcase up there.
The pictures on booking.com are relativity nothing like hotel.
I was late on arrival ( not my fault. Ferry late). Reception was pacing outside slightly miffed. Was not a pleasant experience.
No fruit offered at breakfast. Breakast was minamal. I actually had to buy own. ( pictures on bkng.com show massive fruit tray)No offer off hot tub... like ?what hot tub. No management there at night so couldn't ask for missing aircon remote.
Tiny room. Bed was 4ft off ground, literally had to jump & hang on to get into it. I could touch each sides with my hips. ( No, i'm not a larger size lady)
I would NOT recommend this hotel.

I never believed Id be staying in such an exquisite room in the Old Town for such a reasonable price. The owner has furnished and decorated Paradiso to a level way beyond the expectations of this budget traveller: thank you!
And all this in an unbearable location.
(This makes me seem very picky in such a fabulous room)
The way the owner has designed everything necessary into a small space is sheer genius. However: the height of the bed worried me: difficult to get down if the light is out (and no on/off switch beside the bed); and (again Im being picky) I do hate a hand-held shower. (Maybe other rooms have one.) My single room had an ingenious device that delivers water both to the shower and to the sink: would be fine if there was somewhere to attach it to the shower wall
But overall, these are very minor quibbles.

Great little stay for the price. Location is excellent. Breakfast is pretty basic but its fine for a free bite.
Room has a strange smell about it. Aircon doesnt quite make it into the bedroom but still take the heat off.

The apartment is located exceptionally well, right beside the Diocletian's Palace compound. 2 floors were entirely handed over to us along with the ground floor dining space. The interior aesthetics were mesmerizing. The apartment had a wonderful bath jacuzzi and also an AC. Although the complimentary breakfast timings started from 9, the kind hostess prepared us early breakfast when we had to leave at 7.
The big TV inside the apartment was not working and breakfast options were less. Also was a tad bit too expensive.
