The breakfast was amazing, the hotel's location perfect, and the overall experience very good.
The rooms are not super quiet - guest walking down the corridors in the morning can be heard. Beware: Parking is only possible at the hotel parking spot (or at more expensive places), adding 11/night. When approaching the bay area, there is a barrier which you need to pass, and after this barrier, everybody pays. This could have been written somewhere. (If you want to drive up to the hotel directly (heavy luggage etc.), I would suggest calling ahead of time and asking how it can be done best.) At Friday evening, one of the neighboring hotels has a disco night until 2AM. (In our case.) Better find the party and go along, it is very loud.

Perfect hotel, with small, but very nice and comfortable rooms. The location is perfect, and the amenities, which you can find also in the nearby Marina hotel are very nice for families.
Stuff is really kind and nice.

The breakfast is excellent, with a very large selection, it would be suitable even in a five-star hotel. They even offer champagne. Close to the beach. Swimming pool, sunbeds are free of charge for hotel guests.
A room with a sea view is much more expensive, but at least those really look at the sea. However, there is a street and a bar in front of them, which are noisy. The rooms facing the park (that's what they called) doesn't look at a park at all, but at the flat roof of the restaurant's kitchen and the grocery store next to it. The sight and loud operation of air conditioners on the roof is extremely disturbing. We asked directly not to have such a room, but I assume that you can get a room facing the sea or facing the noisy air conditioners. There is no chair in the room!

Check-in was quick and the room was spacious and clean, with our balcony overlooking the beach and the sea. The breakfast was more than plentiful with champagne every morning and with the opportunity to have it on a terrace. Cleaning was done properly.
The hotel is extremely complicated to access by car and you have to park your car at Hotel Marina, which is not far but cumbersome. Upon arrival we had to pay for the entire stay (a week) in full and in advance. There were no toiletries in the bathroom; a soap spender was only installed at the sink but not inside the shower. The minibar in the room was empty. Other than a billiard table there were no facilities (sauna, gym). In general, for a weeks stay with breakfast only we had to pay more than we had paid a week earlier in Opatija with half-board in Hotel Bristol or that we would have had to pay if we had stayed at Hotel Marina, which offers a lot more facilities and full board at comparable price.

Fabulous breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff! Great location, highly recommend, go and have fun :)
When the room does not have a balcony, there should definitely be something practical in the room/bathroom or around the window (hooks, string or something like that) to hang wet beach stuff.

I booked a standard twin room and based on Booking presentation it should be with view to a green garden overlooking the lush green park. Instead the room is with view to AC system and has some cleaning issue, as in the pictures below. The worst is that stuff and manager are aware of this problem and even told me that they have a lot of complaints but is Booking fault for not changing the description. They dont seam to be truly willing to change anything / find a solution, especially if you are not willing to pay more for what you thought you bought.
