Location, garden, pools.
Absolutely overrated. You get far too little for the price, considering the size and furnishings of the rooms, the appearance of the common areas, the attitude of the staff, the breakfast selection, etc. The hotel looks and feels like a four-star hotel from 30 years ago, while the room rates are far too high for what is actually offered and for the overall ambience. The only exceptions are the pool and the garden surrounding the hotel. The building and the rooms are definitely in need of a thorough renovation if the hotel is to continue being considered a four-star property. But that seems to be the case for many Valamar hotels along the coast.

We liked breakfast and the quiet area we were in, we liked that we were allowed to drink and eat at the pool items not from the hotel, we also liked the non invasiveness of the staff.

When we checked in, the welcome message on the TV displayed the wrong name. There was no fridge or minibar in the room, nor were there any bottles of water. We had booked a room with a queen-size bed but found two single beds with a 10 cm gap between them.

The playroom and the theater were very nice.
Unfortunately, this hotel does not meet the standards of a four-star property. The rooms are poorly presented and inadequately equipped, with visible stains, damaged details, and a general lack of maintenance. The first room we were given had a very strong musty smell, and we had to request a room change.
There are also no thoughtful touches or basic bathroom amenities that would make guests feel welcome. The breakfast was disappointing, with long lines for almost everything. Although the dining area is large, it is clearly unable to handle the number of guests.
The reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. Beach chairs and umbrellas are not included and must be paid for separately. We did not even consider renting them because the beach was extremely overcrowded, as were the swimming pools.
Overall, the price is far too high for the quality of the rooms, facilities, service, and experience provided.

The entire staff was super friendly! This resort has several hotels. We stayed at the Lacroma Hotel, it was nice, clean, awesome indoor and outdoor pools. There are good restaurants in the resort. High end one’s to small fast food ones. We really liked all the restaurants in which we ate. Food was delicious. There are little markets as well where you can buy souvenirs and it is way cheaper than at Old Town.
It is an amazing resort for kids. They have a huge area built for them in addition to the many pools. It is just like in the pictures!
Nice beaches as well at the Resort. We we t to the Copacabana one. It was a great stay.
Buffet breakfast was sooooo good. There is a great variety of food for everyone.
I guess some stairs could be revamped and the carpet in the hallway. But honnestly this is just being picky. The hotel is great!

It is a very nice hotel with plenty of facilities for families with kids, but it would also be a great place to stay for couples. Location is great. There is a close walk to two beaches - one in a sister hotel and one public beach. There are two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and an aqua park - all at the property of the hotel. Kids will definitely be entartained. Furthermore, if you plan to work a bit while kids have fun, there are really good facilities for that: a good Wifi coverage outside, including pool and aqua park. Also, there are covered bars at each facility to sit with a laptop.
We had breakfast and dinners in the hotel, and the variety is very good.
It is a hotel built probably in 90s and had not been renovated since that. Even though you come to such hotel not to stay in the room, but it made a negative impression - bathroom is old, some stuff is broken. Beds are night desks are inconvenent. My kids got stumbled on sharp wooden corners of the bed a few times, which was painful.
Room cleaning is unsatisfactory! Having small kids means the toilet needs carefull cleaning. However, during our 12 days of stay it was NOT cleaned. The personnel mostly make up the beds, which we absolutely do not need, but do not bother to make proper cleaning.
Finally, one big issue was with washing of greens (salat, spinach, etc.). It had small stones and soil in it! I made several attempts to eat that at different days, but finally gave up: one can simply damage teeth with it!

Good breakfast, outdoor and indoor pool close to each other, nearby beach clubs, the staff accommodated any requests, even received a free room upgrade as they knew about the anniversary. Bus station was right near the hotel, old town easy to reach by bus.
The shower needs to be fixed so the bathroom doesn't get flooded

Friendly staff, great facilities, and good energy across the hotel.
Rooms were quite pricey, breakfast should be open until 10:30am, and Dinner on the weekend should be open until 11pm. Beach access limited.
