Disappointing
Location, Room and View are excellent.
You are living inside the house of the host. Which means she surveilling is you, placing your shoes somewhere else, watching you come home through a slit in the door etc.
Also the host just barged into the room or knocked wildly, even though there was a "no disturb" sign on the door, started moving personal belongings, forbid eating food in the room and threw multiple tantrums (within 3 days). After calming down she offered to give hugs and kisses and was overall not respecting any boundaries at all.
The room itself is nice, but the owner makes me not recommend this to anyone

Wonderful
Room was lovely and spacious, immaculately clean and beautiful views from window/balcony.
Lydia, the host, was super sweet and friendly and has a cute, friendly little dog.
I would recommend this place for a stay in Dubrovnik.
I didn't quite appreciate how many steps there were to access the property, which made arriving and leaving with a big suitcase a bit of a challenge. Just something to be mindful of before booking!

As a senior woman traveling alone, the greeting I received from Lydia set my heart at total ease in a place I had never visited. She welcomed me with a smile and open arms and showed me her beautiful facility -- which was a large room with huge, sheer covered windows complete with a view of the Adriatic Sea. The AC worked splendidly which was needed for sleeping. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, the bed like my own! The room was bright, open and lovely. It was a short walk to the old city, about 5 minutes so it made site seeing so easy without having to stay in the more hectic old city. Very quiet. I loved it and loved Lydia!

Great location - close to old town (5 min walk downhill to Pile gate which is center point to everything: transport, tours etc). NB! You need to be OK with walking stairs, lots of them... Despite the closeness of the city it was very quiet neighbourhood. Room was clean, very spacious and luminous. And one could actually be charged extra for getting the chance to enjoy the morning coffee with these views from your terrace over the city and sea :)

We had a wonderful time staying at Rooms Lydia. Just a few minutes walk to Old Town although a steep hike on the way back. Lydia is a charming hostess. She is a beautiful and kind person who does everything to make your stay a happy one. Rooms clean and well cared for. Great view from balcony. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable. Excellent value for money if you want a simple but comfortable place to stay in a great location.

Pretty room, with comfy bed and an amazing view. Close to the oldtown and supermarkets, and a pretty good beach.
Good host who gave us, new cleen towels everyday.
Only thing is that I wish we didnt have to do was to pay in cash.

Lydia is amazing! She gave me everything I needed and more! She even gave me several bedspreads so that I could choose which one I like more :)
It was very nice having breakfast on the balcony with this view. The location is excellent - the old town is a few minutes walk, and at least 3 beaches very close and everything else is also nearby and within walking distance.
Recommendation, get off the taxi at the intersection of Zagerbaska UL and Pera Budmani streets, then you will go down the stairs - it's way more comfortable if you have a baggage
