The location of the hotel gave easy access to various sites in Dubrovnik. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us
Nothing. Couldn't ask for more, actually no, why isn't it a 5 ⭐?

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It is about 15 minutes by bus from the Old Town, which we found very convenient since it was easy to get around while staying in a quieter area.
The sea view was absolutely amazing, and there were many restaurant options nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of space for three people. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience.

Wonderful
Royal Neptun Hotel has a very big hotel and resort-style feel. The location is beautiful, and the overall property, lobby, and public areas are very impressive and clearly recently revamped.
We had a nice balcony room, and the hotel kindly upgraded us from a side-view room to a full ocean-view room, which we really appreciated. The views were fantastic.
The staff were friendly, and the resort itself offers a lot for guests wanting a more full-service hotel experience in Dubrovnik.
One downside for us was the parking cost. We chose to park in the street instead of paying the €35 per day parking fee, which we felt was quite expensive for hotel guests — although Dubrovnik in general is an expensive destination.
While the hotel itself looks modern and stylish in the common areas, we did feel that the rooms could use a bit more modernization compared to some of the newer hotels we stayed at during our Croatia trip.
Overall, still a very enjoyable stay with beautiful sea views and a great resort atmosphere.
One thing we did not particularly like was that the restaurants on the hotel property were very expensive. We actually found them to be even more expensive than many restaurants in Dubrovnik Old Town, which says a lot considering Dubrovnik is already quite pricey.
It would be great if the hotel could consider making at least one of the restaurants more budget-friendly for guests staying at the resort, especially for families or longer stays.

It’s a beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could need. We used the gym and sauna which were well equipped and the walking path behind is very pretty. The room had a beautiful sunset sea view. Highly recommend this hotel!

I got a surprise upgrade (thanks to genius membership) to a lavish suite so my experience was obviously spectacular. 180degree view of calm ocean and islands, maximum space, double TV, all posh amenities. A huge breakfast laid out next to the coast. The beaches in front were stony but you get some (not so fine) sand a bit away. The staff were very polite and took great care of us (gave us a caddy ride to the hotel).
Trying hard but cant think of any.

Wonderful
The hotel with the view were wonderful. Zoe food and staff were amazing, along with the breakfast buffet. The Mexican restaurant was ok but not as good as the others.
I really didn't like that my 12 year old son couldn't go to the indoor pool of the hotel, only outside that was very cold. I think this should change to kids 10+ years old with their parents and doesn't make noise.
Also really didn't like the small beds. I rather have 1 queen or king size.

The location was perfect and the connection with the buss was perfect.
The extra bed in the room was a bit noisy when you move but it was acceptable

Great location for a visit to Dubrovnik. We had a sea view room that comfortably fit our family of three, with a semi-private area where the extra bed for my teenage daughter was placed. The room was a comfortable enough sized room, with a balcony with a great view. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of choices, with some variety/change from day to day. It was a bit crowded, but we never had a problem getting a table, and on our final day the weather was nice enough to sit out on the terrace. Due to the weather, we only were able to enjoy the indoor pool, which is fairly small, so it was quite busy, but again, we were able to secure a couple lounge chairs when we showed up since people weren't staying very long.
The location, while a bit outside of the main area of Dubrovnik, was still convenient. Uber rides to the old town were 8 euros each way, and there is a bus connection quite close to the hotel (although we never tried it). Of course, the prices at the hotel restaurants are a bit high, but there were a number of great spots within a short walk - a traditional Croatian grill with an open grill and great food, a pub food spot with some excellent value, and a Chinese place with really good prices and portions.
Nothing to complain about that the hotel could control!

Everything was perfect, from accommodation to food. Royal hotels are always number one choice for our weekend escape, but I think it's time for gym equipment to be renewed.

Very Good
Views, clean big room and nice spa facilities
Breakfast was cold selection although they can do you a fresh omelette. But all buffet stuff was cold at 9 am. Also if you wanted to go to night time buffet they charge 50 euro pp which is different to what advertised on website

We were given a suite with 2 bathrooms. The view from our room was spectacular. We are definitely staying at this hotel again when we come back to Croatia and will make sure to spend the whole day to explore the amenities.
Some of the front desk people seems not friendly and abrupt. The woman from the spa in particular.
