Wonderful
Beautiful pool by the rocks, the view, great storage in the room, free car parking, updated rooms
Bar by lobby should be redone....cannot see out windows if having a drink, that bar should be more outside. TV in our room blocked the view.....terrible planning. We paid extra for view and then had TV blocking the view! Have drinks available later in the evening by pool. That didn't make any sense.

This is a 3 star conference hotel masquerading as a 5 star resort. No atmosphere, non air conditioned hallways. Cheap bath towel and toiletries. Staff were functional but not pleasant. We stay in some superb hotels in Hvar and Split that were half as expensive. Sorry to say, Hotel Dubrovnik Palace was a very poor experience.
Corporate, tired, non air conditioned hall. Cheap pool furniture. Unpleasant staff.

Location and pools were beautiful! Our first nights in Croatia did not disappoint. Easy access to bus to Old Town and hotel restaurant and bars were great. Breakfast was excellent.

Poor
Not much. Could not believe this was over $1 euro per night. Felt like a 3-4 star cruise ship at best. No luxury, poor service, very disappointed.
Hotel is tired, staff are entirely disinterested. One check in assistant was lovely and useful but she was the only competent staff member we encountered in a 5 night stay. At checkout, no one even asked us if we enjoyed our stay. Barely engaged, just presented the bill. We also were meant to have exclusive access to some beach area which was closed 3 out of the 5 days we were there for events. This is a 3.5 hotel at best.

Wonderful
First of all what a stunning view!
The location. Just so peaceful and beautiful. Doesn’t seems like this is Europe.
I liked the warm welcome, fast check in process and beautiful setup for my friend for her birthday.
And when we wanted a room change (because it was a bit small) they accommodated us right away
The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I expect for a 5 star hotel. They only make the bed and didn’t sweep the floor when we asked for cleaning. The rest was superb. The restaurant Maslina was also pretty great.

Wonderful
The hotel and its views were stunning! Loved the pool and beach area was spacious so you didn’t feel like you were on top of one another. The bar and restaurants were excellent! We ate well and the cocktails and beers were great. Walking distance to town was easy and you could do a lovely walk down the promenade. Service was professional and friendly in every area we really enjoyed our stay there!
The room was nice but I found the bed to be too firm and the pillows uncomfortable.

Very Good
The views.
Slippery floors near pool. I feel and badly sprainged my toe and wrenched my back. The hotel was very nice and drove me to a clinic for x-rays and they paid the cost.

Wonderful
Breakfast was really nice, even if sometimes you have to hustle for a table. People were kind and helpful. The whole place is a poem to the view, and it really makes a difference. Gorgeous views from every single window, immediately puts you in a good mood.
The AC is a bit insufficient sometimes, because it only goes 3 degrees under the outdoor temperature... sometimes it can be warm in the room, but i understand it's a environmental effort, so I agree with it.

Very Good
The hotel was very clean, especially considering its huge size and the number of rooms. The rooms are modern and a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, cheerful, and welcoming.
One of the main reasons I chose this hotel for my holiday was to be able to swim in the sea. Unfortunately, the sea access was very disappointing and definitely needs improvement. The entry points were not properly maintained, the ladders were slippery, and some of the steps were uneven and difficult to use. Getting in and out of the sea was not only uncomfortable but also felt unsafe. For a seaside hotel, proper and safe access to the water is essential, and I strongly believe this area needs urgent attention and improvement.
