I would rate the personnel as 10+, as they are all very kind, attentive and willing to help. The hotel is located in a small village and it gives very calm vibe, as there is no hassle or noise. The guests are mostly Europeans. I really liked the restaurant, good food options, tasty, fresh fish, house wine and desserts. Nice breakfast, a lot of options to eat, but all the same during week. The room is rather small, however the balcony with the view is a great choice. The beach is ok, and as it doesn't have a sand and located on concrete blocks, the children don't use it much, so it is rather calm and gives the feeling of adult-only option. The quantity of sunbeds is sufficient to everyone. In the village there are two small shops to buy souvenirs, water, some food etc, and two local restaurants about 10 min walk from the hotel. The hotel provides timetable of the local bus and ferries. And I used the option of hotel transfer by car/boat straight to the hotel, which is really convenient. I would recommend the hotel if you want calm location with less people and noise.
The hotel already needs some renovation to justify the price, there are some issues, which spoil the impression, as the bathrobe in the room had holes in it, some cracks on the toilet cap, several sunbeds on the beach were broken, but still were placed for guests, the stone base which holds the umbrellas on the beach was not strong enough during wind, and umbrellas kept falling and made people keep watching them instead of relax. And the umbrellas theirselves rather need the replacement. Also, it would be good to have a bar and toilet closer to the beach, because if you need any water/cocktail or use a toilet, you need to go all the way upstairs. For the restaurant, although the food is really good, it would be nice to have more variety for lunch and dinner during stay, as the menu is the same every day with little changes only in fish options.

A comfortable and quiet hotel in a lovely spot with nice swimming and views. The food was great with a great breakfast and evening meals. The staff were pleasant and very helpful as well.
The only drawback is the ferry journey to the island - they are few and far between and the journey can be choppy and very uncomfortable for those without sea fairing legs. But - if you want peace and quiet, like us, the ferry journey is unavoidable.

As we visited right at the end of the season, the hotel was closing the next week, there where a few areas which looked a little tired / damaged but this did not effect our stay and we could see them preparing to rectify these items once the hotel closed.

This hotel is stunning. The location, the view, the sea, the food, the drinks, the hotel terrace. If you like swimming: You can climb in the sea directly below the hotel (stones, cliffs). And the sea is sooooo beautiful there! One thing: This is not a cheap hotel, including the dining and drinks. But you know this beforehand.

Stunning peaceful location with a family friendly vibe. Delicious, fresh food. Great service with speed boat transfer but also efficient ferries to and from Dubrovnik. Amazing views and very friendly, attentive staff.
Would have been nice to have been offered some activities such as sunset cruise, snorkeling trips or wine tasting maybe? But we also loved finding our own adventures exploring the island.

Only house red wine available!! Really! In a 4 star hotel. Food was expensive although plentiful and good choice. Only information about trips to other places was a ferry timetable. Not even the local bus timetable to next village.

The location on the island of Sipan is nice and quiet. The hotel has many nice rooms with a nice sea view. So you need to make sure you get one of those rooms!
The included breakfast was very good.
We got a surprise (not very nice) when we checked-in. We were told that we have to move after 2 nights into a different room, and available rooms were only at the mansard / attic, with a sloping ceiling and not much view. So, in addition we lost 1/2 day from our vacation to move from one room to other. That is a situation that happened first time for a stay booked on Booking.com. So I do not know if that is the Booking.com issue or the property issue ?
Also, the hotel restaurant is not good and very expensive.

Lovely small boutique hotel with very little around it and right next to the sea. The staff were very professional and friendly remembering our room number after just the first night. Great atmosphere and wonderful food.
The swimming pool was freezing!

Eating on the outdoor terrace was heavenly. Plenty of loungers available. Dinner good, but slightly pricey.
The economy room was a decent size, but the windows are very small. This was reflected in the price.

A true relaxing retreat with excellent Vistas to the other islands.
Big plus for the location (quite near the ferry stop). Ferry connection to Dubrovnik is a big plus.

This is a lovely stay for a couple or people who have toured Dubrovnik before. It is about an hour and a half ferry to Dubrovnik bus station (and then a bus ride to old town), so stay on the mainland if you want to do Old Town! This is very much a place you go to and just lay out all day. Only one bar and 2 restaurants in town.
