Very close to Old Town with a view! There was AC in bedroom and common room. The view and patio are brilliant. The decor was fun!

Location is fabulous. Literally within 10 minutes walk to pile gate. It equipped with everything for a family with kid and parents. Owner has been very flexible and helpful. We enjoyed it very much and appreciate it a lot.

The apartment is in a building of several apartments, which share external spaces, including the terrace. There is a large living room with kitchenette, spacious bathroom, plentiful towels, and a large bedroom with wardrobe. The smart TV provided Netflix and WiFi was good. The location is reasonably convenient to the Old Town, and near to the tourist 'hub', which is only a ten minute walk away. There was a reserved car space, which although a 300m walk away (and a few stairs down) was a real bonus where parking is a premium and very expensive. Our host was very responsive to communicate with.
The kitchen was very small with no bench space to prepare food and no plug for the basin to wash up.
The view was not visible from the apartment, but could be seen from the shared terrace area.
Noise from the neighbouring apartment was quite intrusive at times with young children running around and waking up early as well as conversations, which could easily be heard through the walls.
Some guests have made note of the steps leading to and from the apartment to the main road leading into the Old Town, but that's just Dubrovnik!! There are stairs everywhere, and if you don't like them, then perhaps Dubrovnik is not somewhere you should visit.
Having to pay cash for the accommodation, particularly when Croatian ATMs charge such exorbitant transaction fees.

Location hard to find. You need to walk through run down areas to get there. Very small hot water tank so hot water is barely enough for one person shower. Definitely not enough to shower for a family! Amenities worse than other places nearby (as we have friends traveling with us and staying nearby houses).

There was everything you need for a few night stay. Location was great and the parking space really needed
There are 200 stair to the apartment, and you really dont want to get lost like we did.

It has a perfect location and an amazing view. The beach and all the best attractions in town are walking distance away.
Even though it is written in the conditions, paying by card should be an option.
The hot water didn't work, and the towels and bed linen were very old.

Terrific location with views of fort and ocean, close enough to old town that my 3 year old could walk. Also very close to a great little (shaded!) playground. Not nearly as many stairs to get to it from parking as some suggested, not a problem for suitcase. Parking great, completely flat and easy to get into. Clean and comfortable place with plenty of kitchen stuff. Even some snacks left.
Had a little trouble with communication before arriving that I think were some weird technical glitch, but could have been made irrelevant with a better intro letter that specified when/how we should expect to be connecting about key handoff.
Once we did get in contact she really went out of her way, driving across town to meet us and help us in.

Finding the apartment was tricky. There's also a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, which can be quite arduous. However, it didn't bother us as we are quite a fit family!

Central location. Immaculately clean with most things you need for a pleasant stay. Air con worked super & very much needed in heat wave. Host attentive & easy to deal with. There's a pleasant bar about 100 metres from the appt but only serves cold breakfasts, no food. You need to go into the city walls to eat or catch a bus to go further afield. 2 local beaches within 10 mins walking distance were fab. City walls within 15 min walk too. History of the city was amazing, well worth doing walking tour to learn & visit museum at top of hill.
You may find the stairs to the appt a struggle in the heat but that's dubrovnik life it's what to expect. Prices in dubrovnik are high borderline rip off but that's because it's a tourist trap area. City walls access 37 euros. 4 minute cable car return journey 27 euros. Food expensive & not great quality.

Classical Dubrovnik house with interesting history, made of white stone. Modern interior.
Though very close to all attractions in the old town, it takes 140 steps to get to the house, so might not be practical for families with small kids, or elder tourists.
