The staff were welcoming and professional. The facilities were clean and well equipped. It was quiet. The food available for dinner and the breakfast buffet were fantastic.
Some things in the room were a bit dated and looked worn out.

Disappointing
I enjoyed the location a lot. Enjoyed the wind as we were sitting outside. I really appreciated that we werent charge an extra rate for the upgraded room as our initial room bathroom was broken.
I didnt like how outdated the hotel was. The water pressure to have a shower was sometimes annoying especially when you have soap on your face. Breakfast should be changed up more frequently. Also a staff that served us out at the bar seem to be nice until her tip wasnt good enough even after tipping her 3 times.

We love the breakfast and the friendly staff. They were all helpful and kind. The room was big and clean. Enjoyed the fruit juices and eggs.
I wish the room price was a bit cheaper.

It's too numerous to mention what I like about the Herdmanston Lodge.
Let's just say that it will be my go to place to stay whenever I am in Guyana.

Breakfast and dinner were very good.
The Room was very very disappointing. I made my booking in March 2023 and the room I was given on September 28th, was very cheap. There was an old writing desk, no nightstands, 2 old wicker chairs, and the Closet was like an old box with no space. I reported the Television several times but still, it did not work. After about 25 minutes it would shut down. There was no Blanket to cover on the bed. The Receptionist told me to look in the Closet for a blanket which was a black fleece cloth on the bottom shelf.

the breakfast was great. but on weekends they serve breakfast in the lobby. Room service was wonderful.
The shower pressure was very low between 7 and 9am in the morning.
