You have to climb a little, but it was worth it. It provided a very good view of the city. You could see the sea from the balcony. You can climb a few stair-cases and reach the ancient city wall and tower. Which provides even better city view.
Staff was very friendly and rooms were spacious & clean. There were only two bathrooms on my floor but did not have any issue with that as it had only 3 small rooms, so there are limited number of travelers at a time.
All attractions are at walkable distance.
Nothing specific to dislike.

Everything was clean, you could get towels if you didn't have any. Location was great just a bit of an exercise. Nearby a lot of cafes and markets.
Nothing.

Very Good
A highly recommended hostel in a very beautiful setting. My daughter and I stayed in the 2 bed private room and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
There is a balcony adjoined to the room which is fantastic, but do note that it is adjoined to one of the dormitories. That's not a problem as such, just something to bear in mind.

Comfy from the start. Laundry for only 3 Euros. Clean. Air-conditioning. Adorable. The beds make no noise. It attracts really respectful experienced travelers. It's only about a 15-20 minute walk to city center but just that distance makes it a really peaceful neighborhood. Bus 23 is practically right outside the door if you don't want to walk and you can pay on the bus by card if you don't want to buy tickets.

The kindest employees and travelers. It was very social and easy to make friends. Magical atmosphere with music, drinks and sometimes food in the evening. Upon arrival it immediately felt like home away from home and a big family.
Very clean and modern bathroom in the female dorm, spacious room, a lot of relaxing hangout spots including the terraces on the stairs. They even have a little coffee shop/bar.
At first I was a bit skeptical about the location (it’s 20 minutes steeply uphill from the center) but this ended up to be my favorite neighborhood in Thessaloniki. A lot of nature, cute cafes and tavernas, and everyone hanging out by the city walls at night. Very calming and exactly the break from stress that I needed.
One of my favorite hostels I have ever stayed in and I extended my stay from 2 nights to a week because I didn’t want to leave this magical place.
There are no curtains on the beds, but the room is big enough so that I didn’t mind as much as in other places.

I absolutely recommend Crossroads Hostel! It’s a very cozy and exceptionally clean place, full of character and charm, with lovely decor throughout. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. I appreciated that I was able to leave my luggage at no fee for the entire day after check-out.
There’s a welcoming common area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a refrigerator for guests. You can also enjoy your meals on the balcony, which is a nice touch. The hostel has its own café just outside, offering a beautiful view — perfect for a relaxing coffee break.
The location is excellent: a peaceful and picturesque part of Thessaloniki, close to the ancient city walls. Next time, I will definitely stay at Crossroads Hostel again — and spend even more time in this wonderful city.
