The room was small but very comfortable. We loved the relaxing decor of the bathroom and the view from the 7th floor balcony. Breakfast was included and was excellent with a great selection of traditional foods. My daughter was overwhelmed with the choice of soft or hard boiled eggs! But also the variety of breads, cakes, pancakes and cheese pies.
There was nothing we didn't like! Less favoured was paying for water and we'd have liked a little more coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but reception was a bit slow to check out at peak time. The hotel is located in a commercial district and on a busy road junction, which was noisy but interesting from the balcony. Allow extra time to get down in the lift with luggage as

We needed a hotel for an overnight stay in Thessaloniki and found a room at this hotel at the last minute. Great location. The receptionist greeted us nicely and explained where we could park the car (very close and for a fee of €15 for 24 hours). The room and bathroom were clean. There is breakfast on site, and there is also the option of kosher because the Chabad House serves meals there for those interested in this option. No need to book in advance.p
The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room, and we were left feeling quite hot even though it was working a lot. The bed was a small double (we knew this in advance). The bathroom and shower room were very small.

Great location, easy access to the port and bars and restaurants nearby. Staff made a to-go breakfast box for us since the ferry left so early (If anyone from Seajets reads this, the summer ferry to Skiathos is too early! Nobody on summer vacation wants to get up that early! ?)

When I pass to Salonic I always choose and will choose Astoria to stay as it has nice rooms , with balcony , the public parking is not far from this hotel and also the hotel is very close to city center
