We had a wonderful two-night stay at Antonis' family-run hotel, and we can’t recommend it enough!
The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful residential area, far from the crowds of tourists that fill Rhodes Old Town, yet it’s just a 20-minute walk to the nearest entrance gate. Along the way, you'll pass two large supermarkets and the delightful Omer Bakery. If you arrive before 9:00 am, you’ll have the Old Town almost all to yourself!
Antonis is an incredible host—so friendly, helpful, and full of great tips. He kindly allowed us a later check out. He really went above and beyond for us, on the night of our arrival. We were stuck at the ferry terminal at 10:00 pm with no taxi in sight, and he kindly drove out to pick us up—talk about going the extra mile!
We stayed in the Garden Apartment (room 301) which was separate from the main hotel but had lovely outdoor seating in a peaceful garden setting. The apartment was super clean, quiet at night, the perfect retreat. The bed was very comfortable, and the full kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering.
All in all, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend The Philoxenia Hotel & Suites to anyone visiting Rhodes!

Everything was perfect. There was a kitchen box in the room, the room was clean, the host was really friendly, helpful and even let me do a let check out, which I am very grateful for. There are two bus stops nearby, but if you like walking, it takes around 30 minutes to the Rhodes center. Totally recommend this place.

Antonis is a great host, we enjoyed chatting with him and he had very useful advices for us. Rooms are renovated and cleaned daily. Perfect stay! We'll definitely come back.

The room itself was spacious with proper cooling system, nice little balcony and useful kitchenware.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the incredibly kind and helpful receptionist. The facilities were very convenient, especially the communal shower and WC area, which we were able to use even after checking out. This was perfect as we had a late-night flight and could spend the day at the beach, then freshen up before leaving. Our room was cleaned daily, which we appreciated.
The location is great, with local coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and an ice cream shop nearby. Although the walk to the old town takes about 30-35 minutes and can be a bit hilly, renting a scooter made it much easier for us.

The only downside was that our double bed was made up of two single beds and mattresses. Unfortunately, during the night, the beds slid and rolled into the middle, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The host was exceptional and always willing to help with any matter.
It would be nice , if there was a small bottle of water in the fridge before our arrival at the hotel , and some tea and coffee available at the room's counter in order to prepare in mornings

The rooms are quite large and fonctional. Our room was cleaned everyday. Antoni the manager of the otel is really polite. He is a real gentlemen. Our holiday was impressive. Thank you for all Antoni.

The room was very clean and for a family enough large.the owner was very friendly and helpful.
A bit far away from the old town.if you like walking no problem.or you can ask Antonis for calling taxi.it is about 12 euro.

The room was tidy, large enough and with efficient air conditioning. The position of the hotel is great: it's few minutes by car from old Rhodes and there are free parking spots all around.
I haven't complaints about the structure.

Behaviour of the staff was excellent. They were helpful and provide the necessary information to roaming around the city.

One of the best hotels in Rhodes (it was our sixth visit on the island). It’s located in a quiet, residential area of the town, where you can enjoy that real Greece feel as you are surrounded by locals. The hotel owner, Antonis, makes sure you have an enjoyable stay, is very helpful and friendly. So is his gorgeous mum. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette, a balcony with a view on a beautiful garden. There’s everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay - including a library, beach equipment and toiletries. The hotel is spotlessly clean and just perfect - an excellent value for money, too.
