Great location. Beachfront and it's a very nice beach with a beach club next door. They gave us a double room with access to the patio (which lead to the beach).
At the time of our trip, it looks like they were remodeling certain parts of the place. When we first arrived, there was no "reception" area and we had to go to the beach bar in the rear of the hotel. We spoke to the staff there and they were very friendly, however, we had to wait a bit too long for someone to give us any info about our room. In my opinion, the AC in our room was not very strong. The bed consisted of two full beds put together and you could feel the break in the middle which was uncomfortable. The bathrooms were small and did not have a shower liner. The entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. The breakfast was not what we imagined. I assume it was due to the renovations, but one of the staff asked us around what time we would be up the next morning and that she would prepare and bring our breakfast to our room. When we were up and walked outside, a staff member brought two plates with scrambled eggs and toast, that's it. She brought coffee and orange juice. Not saying we needed a full course meal, but we were expecting at least a continental style breakfast with a few more options.

This place was a slice of heaven! The staff was so kind and generous, the rooms were clean and you can't beat the location & view. Calm beach, not too busy (which we liked) and in a quieter part of the island.

It once was a little boutique resort that I think was called Maribou that seems to have been taken over and they are trying to restore it apparently. So room had great bones.. High ceiling, great tile work. Not everything works... Lights had a lot of features, even uplights, most don't work, towel rod was hanging, bathroom floor didn't drain but the basics work and it was comfortable. One nice young fellow does everything from check in to cooking breakfast to cleaning the chaise lounges on the beach. Older handyman and maid have no English and are a bit of authentic Greece.
It isn't as close to the road as the Golden Beach resorts... You probably should have a car to drive the 1 km winding gravel. It is pretty basic and run down despite the nice architecture but they seem to be working on getting it in shape. Certainly it was worth 59 a night

The location is the main asset of the facility! Rooms are right by the beach. I would also like to highlight that the service provided by Dionysis & Eleni is remarkable!
The surrounding area is not as tidy as it should be. The rooms require some refurbishment e.g. the walls need some paintng, the bathroom needs some maintenance, etc.

Location on the beach was perfect. Room nice with thick stone walls that keep the room cold. No need of AC. The stuff was nice and smiling trying to help.
The breakfast must be at 9 but was usually at 10. Same omelet with 2 sandwiches and some fruits daily.

very nice apartment ( nice inside, large and clean) directly on a quiet beach. beach is beautiful ( sometimes windy) . personell was very friendly and easy going.
a bit isolated if you do not have the car, but if you have your own transportation definitely not a problem the location

The staff was really nice and welcoming. The place is overall great. It is a very Greek style building and has an amazing view. The rooms were big and had very comfortable beds. There was also an AC and a frigobar. The bathrooms were good, only downside was the floor getting wet because the shower curtains were too small. The breakfast was always the same but is was really good. The place is very quiet at night and is definitely kid friendly. Me and my sister always access it through the beach from the bus stop since it was a smaller distance and had a great view. The beach is lovely and there are a lot of options for water sports, just remember is very windy there so if you don't like the wind there might be better places.
The place is far from the bigger cities in the island, if you are taking public transportation them remember they are not as frequent and you have to walk for about 15 min (on road) or 8 min (on the beach) to reach the bus stop. There are not a lot of options for food or parties close buy either so if you are looking for those this might not be the best place.

The hotel is right on the beach. The view from the hotel room and the breakfast area is exceptional. The beach is amazing with clear water, beautiful sand and excellent windsurfing. The room was spacious for European standards. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic (omelette with no extras, coffee, toast with ham and cheese, and toasted bread with available honey and marmalade, bottled water with no choices) but filling and included in the room rate. The wifi is secured and was very good (did not test for streaming). My extend family of 8 had an awesome time! Note that this is not the hotel to go to if you are seeking frills/bells & whistles.
I wish they took payment by credit card rather than ask for cash or money transfer into the bank account.
