I liked all the water parks, bar and service with all inclusive.
The location is very good.
The food was poor and not very well prepared especially the meat.
The room wasnt clean and it seems that they clean it very basic between each visitors.
I had issue with ants in the toilets and the toilet sit was leaking water.
The weather and the water in the park/swiming pool was very cold.

Very Poor
Very disappointing experience – room downgrade and no refund!
We booked a Superior room at Star Beach Hotel, but upon arrival were given a downgraded room ( standard room) located right by the parking lot and next to the main road– far from what we had reserved.
When we raised the issue with the hotel staff, they refused to move us to the room we had booked , because the hotel was full according to their claim . Instead, they offered us to leave the hotel and receive a full refund. After two unpleasant nights (out of a planned four), we found another hotel an checked out early with written confirmation from the hotel manager promising a *full refund*.
Since the booking was made through *Booking.com*, the hotel informed us that the refund would be processed via Booking. However, despite countless emails, calls, and app messages, the issue remains unresolved. Booking.com claims the hotel is not responding to their inquiries, and therefore they are doing nothing to refund us.
This experience has been extremely frustrating, both due to the hotel’s treatment and Booking.com's lack of support. We expected a professional service – instead we received poor treatment and are still waiting for our money.Not recommended.

A good-quality family hotel with tasty food, well-maintained grounds, clean facilities, and friendly staff. It can be a bit noisy at times, especially near the beach club by the sea, as it is open to everyone and occasionally hosts parties, but it didn’t really bother us
Slides can be dangerous for big people, I got hit a few times, but nothing serious.

Owners are on any issue that comes up and really help enjoy your vacation.
Excellent for for our family, took up the 4 units and used the pool and dining area near the pool.
Location is great, very quiet but walking distance to some good beaches and short drives to Chania and further beaches.
It was really perfect.

Room 4012 had a terrible smell. A technician came three times but didn’t fix the problem. In the end, we were forced to spend the night in that stinky room until they finally moved us to another one — and even that was on the third floor with no elevator. Honestly, the rooms are awful.

Our stay at Star Beach Village & Water Park was overall okay, but there were several areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience:
1. Restaurant Comfort – During the summer, the restaurant keeps its windows open, and unfortunately, the air conditioning was not effective. This made dining uncomfortable, especially during hot days.
2. Pool Size – The pool area felt quite small and crowded, especially considering the size of the hotel and number of guests.
3. Limited Facilities – The hotel seemed to lack some facilities and amenities that would typically be expected in a resort of this scale.
4. Room Cleanliness – The room floor was not as clean as we had hoped. It gave the impression of an older hotel in need of better upkeep.
I hope the management takes this feedback into account to improve the overall guest experience.

Hello we have arrived for 5 nights 6 days the last day we left early it's doesn't count
To be honest the staff really good and helpful
The food are good tasty most of the time
Special thank for claodia from the pool bar
What we didn't like was hard there is no AC in the public areas like dining room lobby
We are couple need handicap room it was fully booked for people who doesn't use wheelchair and there is no option to book on the website handicap rooms it was really hard for us in many ways and the answer was you can cancel in last minute another replay from the reception this is what you booked and we tried to find something else all the area fully booked in the dates were stay in Crete
The rest room really small with wheelchair was impossible to move into the rest room not to mention was hard to go to wash hands
That's it it might be Matter to those with disability try to talk to the hotel before you book and pay for the room because you won't get what you need in real you will get what you book
And last thing the hotel need to care more about people with disability not only the rooms all the hotel should be easy access ♿ many places with stairs or stair without a way for wheelchair

The buffet was amazing compared to most other all inclusives that I’ve stayed at. The hotel is also right on the beach and has several swim pools.
The room that I stayed in was outdated and not very clean (there was dust and rust everywhere) and the beds were horrible. The mattresses were seriously more like yoga mats. I stayed in a family superior room on the ground floor but there were NO WINDOWS and there was no sofa so no place to relax/sit except for on the bed. Because there was no windows the unit was dark. Also there is no front door! You have to enter through the sliding balcony door. It was very odd. Also, the kid area was still under construction, which was not advertised. So the place looked like a construction zone next to the big silde area and it was impossible to relax with all the drilling and banging that was going on.

Great location. Very clean. Good entertainment. Amazing food and lot of variety. Water parks and pools in the resort were clean and we had great fun in each of them.
AC was not working on one of the days of our stay but the problem was solved next day. pillows could be a bit softer for comfortable sleep
