Medausa Villa consists of a couple of adjoining houses and a very nice swimming pool / sunbathing area. Its in a very quiet neighbourhood a short walk from old town Hersonissos (not be comfused with the party town down on the beach. If you wantto go to the beach iss a short drive or a 35-45 minutes hike on foot. But why bother when you have a sweet pool and can chose between sunbenches!) In old town Hersonissos there are many nice reataurants and the vibe is to die for. The suites, while not luxorious, are very comfortable, each with a little semi-private outdoors area witb a table and some chairs and couches,
Nothing really. I found it a a bit difficault to get to and from, but from the week I have stayed here in Crete so far, that is normal for the Cretan road system. You have to have you A-game on while driving here.

As always Nikos is the most friendly host, the apartments and poolarea are superclean and it is a nice small complex which is perfect if you want to enjoy peace and quite time. Just 5 minutes walk from Old Hersonissos with many local restaurants and a very nice atmosphere. Great location to make daytrips as it is at a perfect spot to enter the main road.

Room size was perfect with a nice view of the sea. The manager was very helpful. It's a short walk to the old town village for a meal. And a downhill walk to the main beach. Highly recommended.
Hard to say something I didn't like about this place apart from saying goodbyes.

I received from Mr. Nikos a coffee per person and a bottle of water for each room when we arrived (we were 13 people with 6 rooms)Mostly cleanliness, with some exceptions. Quiet area.
I had big problems with Mr. Nikos. He entered a couple's room, in the morning when they were in bed, sleeping. He yelled at them because he found the pink underwear a little dirty. He found reasons not to change the linens and towels in 2 rooms for 1 week until I bought a detergent to prove to him that the stains from the underwear and hair dye were completely cleaned. He wanted me to pay for his underwear at the end. The refrigerator was working very badly, the freezer made the ice cream turn into cream. A man bent on arguing, always under inspection. Although I had reservations for 6 rooms with a sea view, only 5 had a view. A verbally aggressive man ready to kick us out of the house. My room had no window, only 2 doors without curtains. I had no peace because of the host. On one of the days I stayed in the room to rest, but after about 20 min. the air conditioner was turned off. I could say much more but I'll stop here. I do not recommend!!!!!

Its not too big, and it has a small and friendly feel to it. The pool is lovely. Theres a good view of the mountains and sea from most places on the property. The rooms are spacious.
Everything was great! Our only tip would be to be careful not to lock yourself out of your room

Breakfast n/a : lovely apts in a beautiful setting - gardens and sea views - swimming pool with facilities - apts with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi - Nikos very helpful - a little way out of the village, but walkable in 10 mins.
Very happy with our stay here.
