The Kids Club was exceptional; the staff did an outstanding job, and the activities were highly engaging.
Additionally, our bungalow room with the private garden was perfect and provided a wonderful space for the family.
However, we noticed a significant decline in the pool areas as the day progressed. While the facilities are initially very nice, they quickly become overcrowded, and the cleanliness compromises due to accumulated food leftovers and debris.
The dining experience was particularly disappointing. The food quality falls short of a luxury standard, and the restaurant staff frequently behaved in a rude and aggressive manner.
Furthermore, the resort appears to suffer from significant overcrowding. By midday, the common areas and pool decks become uncomfortably crowded and dirty, with excessive food waste left unattended, which unfortunately attracts stray cats to the guest areas.

This is our second visit to Creta Maris Resort and it exceeded our expectations. The territory is amazingly beautiful, the food is delicious and various. Also great for little children. Our 3 year old son enjoyed the water park so much, as well as the game club and the evening shows ? The beach and the sea is so beautiful, the colour of the water’s just breathtaking! It also seems that some of the big stones have been moved away as the entrance to the sea was easy and comfortable this time. If once again in Crete, we will choose Creta Maris. The resort is in our heart.
We did not find an ice cream spot at the beach side this year. At the aqua park side only. Which is not a big deal but not really nice when stay most of the time at the beach with children.

Great hotel with friendly staff and a few areas to improve
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are very welcoming and polite. Our room was comfortable and spacious, though there was a noticeable damp smell that didn’t go away due to high humidity.
Food overall was tasty, especially in the à la carte restaurants. However, the main buffet tends to repeat the same dishes daily, and the desserts could be improved - they often lacked flavor.
One disappointing situation happened at the waffle station: we arrived a few minutes after closing with our child, and even though there were waffles still left on the counter, the staff member refused to serve us. A bit more flexibility and kindness, especially towards children, would make a big difference.
The beach and pool areas are nice, but the sunbed cushions are not cleaned regularly and feel quite sticky, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this level. Towels are another issue - you need to carry them yourself, and the towel station is closed for long breaks.(starts 12:00pm only)
In comparison, we had a much smoother experience in other 5-star resorts (in Crete),where staff brought towels and water directly to the sunbeds, and the organization felt much more seamless. Sunbeds reserved for your room too and able to choose location.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great potential - just needs better organization and attention to details to truly match its -star image.

It was our 7th time at Creta Maris Resort. Every time we visit, the resort makes improvements. This year, they added an adults-only area. Perfect service, delicious food, super clean, and great options for both late departures and early arrivals. Always a 10 out of 10!
One small note: the bathroom towels could be refreshed—I think there should be more new ones.

This hotel is pure magic outside of Hogwarts. Starting with the location: literally the first line, where it took us just a minute to walk from our room to the sea. The activities and service set the standard for all other five-star hotels.
The style is that of a Greek seaside village, with whitewashed buildings surrounded by plants and flowers, and those blue doors that seem to invite every fisherman straight into this very hotel.
It was our first trip here, but believe me—they do everything to make sure you come back again and again.
I also have to mention the food and the “restaurant reservation” system with unique concepts. Friends, it’s a BLAST! Simply thank you for giving people such a wonderful time—being on the Mediterranean coast without a single thought other than rest, inner harmony, listening to the sound of the waves, and enjoying live music in the bars (almost every evening: a band or a soloist).
The cocktails were unique, each with its own twist, and the homemade wine was incredibly delicious—no wonder it flows so generously into the glasses of the hotel’s guests!
Simply, thank you.
The only detail was the smell coming from the drainage channel under the Enomy. I saw that the hotel management is concerned about this issue, and I have no doubt that you will resolve it soon.
