The absolute highlight are the staff. Absolutely wonderful and I immediately felt part of the family, nothing is too much bother, everything is possible and always with a smile on their face. It has been many, many years since I experienced this level of customer attention.
The location is stunning, with spectacular views of the coast. It is set in the village of Koutouloufari which is quaint with loads of little boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops and just 5 mins walk from the hotel.
My room (106) was the furthest up you could go which was not ideal with my knee but boy does it give you a free workout! The room itself is on 2 floors and it is spacious with a gorgeous bathroom. And of course, being so high up, the views cannot be topped.
It is entirely my fault, I didn't mention my limited mobility when booking and if you too have this problem, then all the steps and hills may be an issue. George will do anything to accommodate guests so do mention your preferences!
The parking situation is a bit precarious if you have to park in the "field" of stone and rubble and driving through the village for the first time is not for the faint hearted with very narrow alley ways, lots of people and cars. Beware!
And my last (very minor) point: I like my tea / coffee in a mug. Not in an itsy bitsy cup which is empty after two glugs. I also feel that a hotel of this standard could provide a bona fide coffee machine, not have filtered coffee pre-prepared and kept warm in a thermos. But really, the positives FAAAAR outweigh the negatives.

Staff were wonderful. The pool was never too busy. Nice rooms with a lovely sea view. Food in the restaurant was also of a high standard. Away from the village but easy to walk to (400m down a narrow road). Would visit again.
Getting to the hotel. The narrow road felt like it was the wrong way, and google tries to take you through a gated community prior to that! Okay, once you knew the way.

The staff was super friendly, the breakfast amazing, the atmosphere and of course the pool with the view was all worth it staying here! Beautiful sunrise!
It's not that easy to get here with a car rental, so it's really needed to follow the instructions sent by the hotel.
Our room on ground level was a bit dark, but since we were only inside to sleep it was totally fine.
