We added half board to our stay and were pleasantly surprised with the selection at breakfast. We were also pleased that the hotel allowed us to switch evening meals to lunch time at poolside bar. This allowed us to discover all the wonderful tavernas surrounding the villages. The staff were brilliant. Hard working and all very polite. The areas were kept spotless and our room was very clean too. Our only observation was the room we had is ready for an upgrade. On our last day we paid extra to keep the room on as we had a late flight. They needed the room we’d been using so offered us a superior room for the rest of the day- this room was definitely an upgrade. I hope they continue to upgrade all rooms. The location of the hotel was perfect. 20 min walk to Hersonissos port area and 20 min walk to old Hersonissos.
Pool feels slightly small when hotel is busy. Despite inflatables clearly banned, we did see several children with really big inflatables that took up lots of room.

“Asterias Village is a very nice hotel with an overall great structure – everything is well maintained and the facilities are excellent. The breakfast and dinner options were really good, with plenty of variety and quality food. The bed could be a bit more comfortable, but that’s a small detail compared to the overall experience. As it’s a larger resort, there’s the common issue of guests reserving sunbeds early in the morning with towels, sometimes keeping them blocked for the whole day. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful, facilities were amazing including the beautiful pool area with gorgeous high quality sun beds and relaxing area, the food was really lovely and authentically Greek, hotel rooms were beautiful and the setting was perfect with views right across Hersonisos (we stayed in room 26).It was also immaculately clean! The best hotel we've ever stayed in Greece in the most beautiful villages, and as someone who is half Greek this speaks volume! We are so sad we didn't stay longer and will definitely be back for sure. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

The pool area and bar were excellent. Staff were very considerate, professional and helpful. Breakfast was of a good standard and we had a very nice meal in the restaurant. The maid service was very good also, with a visit every day.
We stayed in a maisonette, the upstairs bedroom was nice enough with a good comfy bed and adequate air conditioning but I found the downstairs living area small, awkward and very basically equipped.
There are quite a number of steps from the roadside entrance to the reception , pool area and many of the apartments. We are fairly fit for this challenge bit could be a problem for many.

Asterias Village is perfectly located and within walking distance of two other towns in the area. We loved having access to a Spar Express (mini market) and ATM directly opposite our accommodation. The staff were friendly and very helpful and it was overall a lovely experience.

Disappointing
The swimming pool was very good and the restaurant of the hotel. The view was very nice and there was a small grocery store nearby plus parking was very good.
We were very unsatisfied with the first allocated room because the deficiencies were very obvious.
First> The air conditioning-condensators (4X), wich has been alocated at the sleepingroom window were very loud due to the broken. It was fix after my complain but stll it was very loud, if you woke up you could not manage to asleep agin.
The smell of mold in the apartment was much worse and very, very strong. When we arrived, the room was so over-perfumed that it was difficult indentify mold mycel smell. After ventilate it was much worst and unpossible to sleep due to the very strong smell. In the kitchen(sleepingroom), I could even catch pictures of mold mycel.
After my complain (after first night) the room has been exchanged.
4 X unhealthy nights for the whole family. At the reception the people said: noone didn't know anything about, I think the damage was very obvious.

Booked a superior room, these are the renovated ones, lovely and modern, very comfortable and nice and spacious with lovely sea views. Seperate walk in shower . The room had coffee making facilities & fridge. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Great location. Lovely pool area. Breakfast was nice. I would definitely recommend.
A lot of steps (as with a lot of properties in the traditional vilkages) so not really suitable for those less mobile, not an issue for us but something to bare in mind.
