The location , food very good and delicious desserts, nice pools and I like the ideea with different types of food in different days for dinner .
With a big family and I mean 3 kids I didn’t like that I receive a room on the first floor and every time I needed to take upstairs the stroller and everything plus to climb every time the hill who wasn’t so easy to go with a stroller because is a bumper road . Plus we had a small problem in the bathroom as every time after my kids took a bath when we want to take the water out all the water came out from pipe on the bathroom floor , plus little bit dirty on the room floor (dusty and a lot of hair )

I liked a lot the food, the management of the restaurant, and the staff at the Animation Centre.
The new room they gave us was very nice. The initial one was not nice and small for three persons.
They placed us in a very small room for 2 adults and one boy of 17 years old. He was given a child bed and he could not fit in .

The staff at the restaurant is super friendly. Nice beach and lots of activities in the resort. Beautiful garden and a variety of fruit options. The fish provided in the meal is super good. The beach bar is very welcoming. The shuttle bus is convenient.
The room is not exactly what is written in the booking option. I booked a room with three beds but it comes with two beds. And it is not on the ground floor as described. The information about shuttle bus services are not provided online. It takes sometime for newcomers to figure out how things go on here.

Wonderful
The views from the restaurant are fantastic, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The different pool areas provide different experiences which is nice if you plan to stay on site, plenty of things to do for kids of all ages with kids clubs and disco's. There's also lots to keep adults entertained too.
The only negative for us was storage space in the rooms, however we spent very little time in our room and all the facilities in the room were great. Beds are comfy and rooms were cleaned daily.

Premises and location plus. Quiet pool not really quiet, there are children’s pool but unused.
Food at main restaurant mediocre and repetitive
A’la Carte restaurant fantastic La Pergola.
Fitness room basic would definitely need repair/ refurbishing

Beautiful location and great food in the main restaurant. Nikkos at the Thalasos bar was adorable and his specials really hit the mark! Make sure you visit Hersonissos as it's a great place with lots of atmosphere.
Room was in a great position but the bathroom really needed updating. The fish restaurant wasn't great at all and the Greek restaurant served lovely food but lacked any atmosphere. It's table service for drinks in the main bar and i would suggest a tip to the bar staff in the first night or your chances of getting more than a couple of drinks is slim.
We went mid June and for our first week I think we were possibly the only Brits there which was a little disappointing.
We also booked our own taxi to the airport and got royally ripped off so best to book through reception at a fixed price!

It’s a nice authentic hotel. Very beautiful and clean territory, surrounded by flowers and palms. Good choice of cuisine, very delicious. Friendly and nice personnel. Very peaceful place, very family-friendly. Good drinks and the Terrassa Bar, nice serving. The room with the garden view was perfectly located - Very convenient for the children to reach out the pool. The hotel provides lunch boxes - it is a great idea, if you are out for an island trip and miss the lunch/dinner.
The furniture in the rooms a bit outdated. The cupboards could be cleaned before a new arrival, we recognised some smell there. Suppose, it was not cleaned before we arrived.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mitsis Cretan Village Hotel, and I must start by giving a big thank you to the Pinkwave animation team. Their shows were amazing and truly added to the enjoyment of our stay. It is a pity that they only have two shows a week. These performances are much more engaging and enjoyable than those by external entertainers, as we have no connection to the external acts. The animators we meet during the day are the ones we come to watch, and their familiarity makes the shows even better. I would love to see more shows from the Pinkwave team in the future.
The hotel staff were some of the nicest I have ever encountered. A special thank you to Dimitris for his help with our luggage and to all the reception staff who made us feel so welcome. The team at the main bar were incredibly kind, and I cannot forget to mention the wonderful Mrs. Popy and Sir Nagy from the pool bar who made our time by the pool extra special.
Overall, my stay at Mitsis Cretan Village Hotel was fantastic, thanks to the exceptional animation team and the wonderful staff. I look forward to returning soon!

I really liked the fact I could pre book the a la carte restaurants from the UK before arriving and received confirmation for each one.
The staff made the hotel and were all very polite and helpful, could not fault the service.
I liked the location of the room, the gardens were nicely kept and there was a lovely little patio with table and chairs which we used to sit at in the afternoons.
We were extremely lucky to be offered an upgrade to the Royal Mare next door into a luxury suite with a private pool.
It was a lovely experience and we felt very honoured.
Everything was arranged for us for the last 3 days of our stay, including transferring us there and back.
The room we booked was so dated it should not have been allocated. The door was difficult to lock, it came out of it's frame a few times which the concierge had to help with.
There was a shower in the bath which was very old and wobbly.
The entertainment was not good at all, it would be better to have professional acts every night rather than the inhouse team putting on shows. Good for kids but certainly not for adults!
Need beach shoes due to sharp shingle.

The location was excellent, unfortunately the recent storm that they had has taken half the beach but I’m sure it’ll be rebuilt. The hotel was typically Grecian. The food in the main restaurant and speciality restaurant was excellent.

The staff was friendly and willing to help, but incompetent. The food was varied.
We were here from September 17th, 2023 to September 19th, 2023. This hotel is a typical tourist trap that advertises with old pictures. Some of the customer reviews are probably bought. It may also be that some guests don't want to admit it and put a good face on it. Nobody looked really happy there. We actually booked for a week. After 2 days we were fed up and left.
(1) The drink selection was ridiculous. Nothing was fresh. The beer tasted bland, the wine was horrible and cheap.
(2) The entire property was old and run down. It gave the impression that something had been built with EU money at some point and that it had been left to fall into disrepair ever since. It's like trying to cash in as long as you can.
(3) The fitness room was an imposition. No disinfectant, contaminated and broken devices. We almost hurt ourselves because some parts were already so rusty.
(4) Most of the things in our room were broken. Here's a brief overview of the bathroom, just as an example: Broken tiles, exposed pipes, crawling ants on the floor, unclean water, no functioning ventilation.
(5) The room service stole money from us that was on the table. She wasn't supposed to go into the room because we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. When we reported it to the reception, they said succinctly that the cleaner probably thought it was a tip.
(6) We rent bikes. These were so worn out that you could push through the rusted spokes with your thumb. The rest of the bikes were no better.
I'm sure that the management will respond and appease this review. But there is nothing nice to talk about here. The entire complex would simply have to be demolished and rebuilt.
