Air con did not work. Shampoo was empty. Room under the restaurant suffered from noise dragging chairs very early at morning and late night. Could not sleep !!!

Excellent welcome every time - Emma, Nicolas and others who are all fantastic. Room Upgrade on my return night which was fantastic. Restaurant was great though a little noisy early in evening.
Location is great when arriving late to Chania. Really lovely pool area. All in all a great find.
Some of the rooms have noise issues - sounds like people moving chairs.

Very clean and spacious room with comfortable beds. The staff was extremely friendly, and the location is excellent. The breakfast offered everything you could ask for — highly recommended!
The only downside is that the room could use a bit of renovation, and the bathroom would benefit from being more spacious.

We had an amazing time at the Royal Sun. The location offered an amazing view of Chania. The hotel had wonderful amenities, especially the free shuttle to downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! We would highly recommend staying here.

Modern hotel with clean rooms and well-maintained bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent, offering panoramic views of Chania from the dining area. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a non-alcoholic drink. The free hotel shuttle is very convenient (just coordinate the time with the host). The property also features a nice outdoor pool and a useful self-service laundry, free except for detergent capsules.

Very Good value for the price. Amazing place with great food, restaurant, swimming pool and amazing view. Staff was great and very helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. We were staying with a small baby and he also had very nice crib prepared. Laundry room and gym was available for everyone and very easy to use.
Free transport to Chania helps a lot.
Lack of place for kids, like playground or playroom but I understand not everyone need this.

The restaurant is PHENOMENAL. Views from pool/room/restaurant are hard to beat. Manolis(bartender) is incredible as is the whole wait staff in the restaurant.

The views are unmatched. Absolutely stunning. The staff at check in were friendly and nice. All the staff in the restaurant as well. The restaurant breakfast is a must as well as dinner. So much good food. Do not miss this place. The sunset at dinner was stunning!

The view from our room was fantastic, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the hotel's restaurant is perfect. One of the best things is a free shuttle to the Chania center where it is very problematic and expensive to find a parking, so we've used this service almost every evening!
There are no options for gluten-free food in breakfast.

Location, views, breakfast, reception staff were brilliant and friendly, pool area was great, shuttle service provided was fantastic.
Noise in the mornings was pretty loud from rooms above. We were on the first floor and I had to wear my earplugs to reduce the noise in the mornings.
Sadly we had a poor experience in the restaurant at lunch time one day when the wrong food order was brought to us and the correct order after that was significantly delayed despite being a simple club sandwich order. The most disappointing thing about this was the customer service and attitude from one particular, cold and rude female member of staff

The stay was perfect, the location and views were amazing, transportation to Old Town on daily base, with acceptable prices in the restaurant(It's better to reserve the restaurant in advance), but the most amazing was the Staff, good people, attentive and helpful(Special thanks to Nikolas and Katerina)
