We had a wonderful stay at Monte Vardia! The staff were welcoming and always ready to help. The hotel was very clean, and the view from the terrace was absolutely stunning. We also really enjoyed the food served at the hotel—it was delicious and added to the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Crete.

I loved it to bits! The most beautiful surroundings i had ever seen. I could sit outside in that peace forever and look at those blooms and palms. Real paradice.
Very clean and new looking loby, very large and clean restaurants, very clean outside area and very clean pool. All was just spotless.Very beautiful view from a terrace.

Owner lady and her son were the sweetest people,always present to help.
It felt like 5 star hotel. I think it is underrated.
Food store just across the road,Square restaurant with cheap and fab menue for lunch/dinner just across road.

My spouse and I stayed at Monte Vardia for a week, and we both felt we made an excellent choice. Helen and her team were exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast was generous and varied, and the hotel’s location was very convenient—just a short drive to the center of Chania. There’s a coffee shop, a market, and a gyros restaurant right next to the hotel, as well as a lovely park (Venizelos Graves) just a five-minute walk away. The hotel also offers easy access to the main roads leading to beaches both to the west and east of Chania

We wanted hotel close to the airport for morning departure and were surprised at how wonderful this hotel was. It is outside Chania town on Akrotiri peninsula and is an easy 15 minute (or less) drive to the airport. Absolutely lovely staff, could not have been nicer. Great breakfast, eggs made to order. Also serves dinner. Beautiful large, relaxing pool. Terrific view of Chania from 2nd floor roof deck. Would definitely stay here again!
On a busy road, so area not very walkable. But our front facing room was quiet, no problem sleeping. Lots of trees around the hotel, so once you are on the property, it doesn't feel like busy road is near by.

Exceptionally kind staff, close to the airport and accomodated a late check in around midnight (couldn't find others that do!). They speak fluent English which is a plus. Rooms are reasonable size and clean.
We were late to breakfast and still accommodated us and even helped with checking the local weather wind forecast before travelling
Would 100% recommend!

Myself and my partner spent an amazing week at Monte Vardia. Everything was absolutely top notch with Eleni and Kiristennia creating the most hospitable hotel we've ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks, food, the room, the pool, the advice about where to eat, things to see and do. It was a home away from home. We'll definitely be back!

Snacks/light dinner also very tasty and freshly made.
The two sisters who ran the Hotel were very friendly, always ready to help.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming! Lovely family. They did everything to make our stay easy pleasant and comfortable. They went above and beyond to look after us. Good at breakfast was great lots of options and catered to your needs with cooked eggs and bacon if wanted and Greek yoghurt and honey which was just divine. The pool was perfect.
Nothing not to like!
It is just set back a little from a busy main road but this really didn’t bother us and didn’t really notice the noise - just be careful when crossing as the road is busy!
