the family who own the hotel were exceptionally kind and friendly and could not do enough for you. The view from the hotel was very good and it had a pretty garden and lovely trees. the pool was extremely clean. The rooms were cleaned very well. breakfast choice was good with a friendly atmosphere amongst the residents and staff. Good and safe parking. Useful little shops nearby. if you wish you can have a evening meal at the small hotel bistro.
Only reservation we have in recommending this delightful hotel is if you cannot tolerate a background of traffic noise from the adjacent road. We soon found that it melted into the background.

Everything was perfect ! The two sisters owner of the hotel are very kind. They gave us many great suggestions for visiting.The rooms are bright with very comfortable beds. The big pool is so nice ! This hotel is near from everything by car and protected of the crowd of Hania.The view is awsome. We will come again when in Crete

Our room was wonderful, it had an amazing view of Chania town, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great ,lots of variety. the pool was awesome, plenty of parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would unreservedly recommend it to anyone.

It is a very cute hotel run by the loveliest family, they treated my friends and I so well from the minute we got there. They have great breakfast service and an amazing swimming pool, also the coffee is delicious. The room was really spacious for 4 people and all the beds were so comfortable.
The public transportation connections to the city centre are great as well, the bus station is literally a min away from the hotel and it takes only like 15 to get there.
I will definitely be going back if I visit Chania again, thank you so much for your hospitality :)

Great views overlooking Chania Town. Nice pool and area to relax and once got to know the staff were very good.
Good breakfast with options for cooked eggs etc set us up well for the day.
Easy to drive into town and bus stop close by.
Noisy road - but provided very good additional screens and double glazing so did not hear it at night.

Exceptional Everything was perfect. Our room was great,very clean and with amazing view . A family run business that instantly makes you feel at home especially Eleni ,her son Nicholas and her sister Christine All Cretan are lovely and friendly people The Hotel is very clean The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with greek yogurt served with honey,ham,cheeses,eggs,jams,cereals and more One day they gave us an earlier packed breakfast to go early in the morning to Balos Amazing and very clean swimming lagoon The hotel has a private parking under the trees Definitely amazing experience @ Villa Vardia

We felt very warmly welcomed by Eleni and her family at Monte Vardia from the moment we arrived on holiday and left as friends. The staff (mostly family) were friendly yet discreet and professional. The hotel is a short taxi ride to Chania so we had both the benefit of being close to this charming and lively town, yet also had the peace and quiet of the hotel with its beautiful views over the sea to retreat to. Breakfast and dinner was also very good quality and lovely to have this served overlooking the pool. I would recommend a visit if you can make it to Crete Botanical Park. The park and its restaurant was one of the highlights of our visit.
There is some road noise but it didnt trouble us.
