Sense of coziness calm historic clean and calm in the old town close to all key historic and touristic walks in chania.
Owner and manager amazing made us feel at home always helpful and guiding.

The location just inside the old town was magnificent, and the hospitality of the owner was unmatched. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Adorably rustic apartment in the center of Old Town Chania. Able to accommodate two beds without a problem. Small kitchenette has coffee maker, sink, mini fridge and small stovetop. Hostess Tomáis was incredibly sweet and welcomed us with fresh squeezed orange juice and a homemade apple cake, then made us cheese pies the next day!
Parking is NOT close or easy as advertised. You can park for free anywhere along the beach road or two small parking lots there, which were absolutely packed with people Saturday-Monday. We had to drive around 15-20 minutes each time to find a spot, and then it’s a 5-10 minute walk to reach the apartment. It wasn’t awful by any means, just an inconvenience that I did not anticipate due to the description.

The street it was on was very picturesque. The entrance way was inviting and the room was very quaint. Thomas, the host was lovely and she made the best coffee cake, cookies and breakfasts for us. She was very sweet and helpful with all of our needs. The location was excellent. Very close to the harbor, but just far enough so you didn’t hear all the night life.
The property was wonderful. The only drawback is that there was no parking available near by. Had to park and walk a few blocks away. It wasn’t a problem for us, but could be for others.

This is a studio apartment situation run by the most lovely woman on the planet. It is efficiency, so you might stay longer, we only had a short time and I wish we had more. She made us cookies, apple olive oil cake, cheese pies for the morning and fresh squeezed orange juice! She was amazingly friendly and available, and set up reservations for restaurants as well. She knows everyone. The property is super cute and is right in the heart of old town Chania, but is super quiet and down the most lovely alley. The walkability is insane! You are right in the middle of it all...fantastic shops, restaurants, two minutes from the port, it is incredible. The only challenge was parking. We had a car and had to park it far away, but honestly just plan for that...she was even willing to go with us to find parking! She is amazing. Such a great experience.

We had a wonderful homemade cake when we arrived. Homemade biscuits to have with our coffee and Thomais made us the traditional cheese filled pastries for breakfast. We felt very comfortable and the location was perfect. Right in the old town and absolutely stunning. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

The property was in a great location and very pretty.
Thomias was the very best host you could ask for! She was delightful. She gave lots of suggestions and answered questions. Her breakfasts were delicious! She even did our laundry!

Lovely place to stay with a great balcony, light airy kitchenette and the location was perfect - a quiet street right in the middle of the old town. The best part however was the exceptional host. She was the most welcoming, helpful and charming person I have met, and a great cook ?

in the Madonna Studio in Chania, hosting was exceptional from start to finish, so friendly and helpful with everything, home made cakes, biscuits and pies in abundance, fresh orange juice, clean and well equipped room in a perfect location in the old town, would totally recommend to anyone wanting traditional greek accommodation beautifully blended with the additional mod cons we all expect

Thomais is an amazing lady, a perfect host, she looked after us exceptionally well. Her kindness will not be forgotten, she surpasses all others we have met over many holidays, She and her daughter treated me with great concern when I became immobile with back pain for many of the days. Nothing was too much trouble. She made sure we had everything we needed to help us through. An agonising flight home and still I'm laid up and reflecting on having met such a wonderful sincere family.

Big room in an authentic historic venetian building in the old town of Chania, next to the old port, with a terrace overlooking both the inner courtyard and the cobbled street, it's the perfect place to enjoy the lovely buzz of Chania. Our host, Thomais, was always available, and brought us a nice homemade breakfast with Dakos, Kalitsounia and Greek Yogurt with honey every morning.
Most buildings in the old town do not have parking, and the nearby public one gets quite full during August.

What did I like? Everything! The location? Just in the middle of Chania old town, a minute away from the Venetian port. The building? An impressive Venetian house from 13th Century impressively maintained. The facilities? All you need to spend a really nice days. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host? Thomais is the perfect host. She runs Madonna Studios with all her heart. Her devotion to make the guests to be like at home is the best value. She prepares delicious homemade breakfast with pie and juice. What a nice surprise. We really didn't expect to have such a great stay at Madonna Studios. Crete is a fabulous island, with a lot of places to visit. We will be back for sure, and what's really sure, is that it will be at Madonna Studios. You are looking where to stay in Chania? This is your place! Thanks for everything, Thomais! We loved our stay!
