I didn’t like that I was asked to pay the security deposit in cash (which I didn’t)!! when the hotel policies state that no payments should be made in cash, cards only.
Overall, I enjoyed the hotel, but I did feel that the service at check-in was not within the hotel policy.

The location was great, and the hotel staff was friendly. I liked that we could walk to the old town, the port, and the city center from the hotel and there was a great bakery nearby, Wood Oven. The apartment had a private jacuzzi on the terrace, which was fantastic, but towards the end of our stay we had doubts about the maintenance of the water, so actually didn't use it the last two days, sadly. We raised the question but were told the staff had already left for the day so nothing could be done. The size of the apartment was comfortable for four people.
The kitchen facilities in the apartment were small, a bit dated, and awkward to use with the folding doors to access the fridge and stove. I think the kitchen facilities could be updated to match the rest of the apartment, which is quite comfortable. For the price we paid, we were surprised that there was no breakfast included, and also that there was no option to get a quick breakfast. I know it's holidays and we should have all the time in the world, but when heading out for a day trip one day we ordered breakfast at the snack bar on hotel premises thinking it would be faster than heading out to a bakery nearby, however we waited one hour for our breakfast order.

Location and balcony.
Cleaning staff were rude and never left us beach towels. We had to ask for beach towels every day from the reception. They were also rude when trying to help us with the coffee machine.

We stayed here 2 separate times because we hiked the Samaria Gorge in between the 2 stays. The people at the desk welcomed us back as friends! We had such good service during both stays.

Everything about the Hotel Christina was perfect! The location in Chania was great. The staff were incredible. We needed help with a taxi mix-up (our own mistake, not theirs) and they help us clear it up. The room and the grounds were immaculate! Everything was festive and bright. I’d stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.
We have no complaints.

Rooms cleaned every day, staff helpful and friendly, excellent facilities,well equipped rooms with many appliances.
My wife loved the dressing gown and slippers provided free.
The only downside was an extremely noisy fan in the bathroom.

The room was modern and clean. The staff were always friendly. The food at the restaurant was great as were the cocktails at the bar. Thank you to Harris for looking after us each night ?The location was great for local restaurants at night and was a 20/25 minute walk into Chania’s beautiful Venetian harbour.
The patio doors to our balcony didn’t lock properly. We did report this to reception and they said that they would get them fixed, but they weren’t fixed during our stay.
