The location is exceptional. The breakfast wait staff and the breakfast was exceptional.
The room was not properly cleaned on any day. The bare minimum of making the bed, removing the garbage and giving fresh towels is all that was done. We had to ask for toilet paper each and every day as only the half roll from the day before was left. The managerial staff dismissed our concerns and were no help.
Counters, floors, and shower/tub were not cleaned.
We have stayed here previously and did not have these issues. I am wondering if it is a new managerial staff.

Our room location facing the harbor was splendid. We sat on our balcony with coffee in the morning watching food purveyors make deliveries. Then again in the evening with an ouzo watching all the strollers passing by. With the balcony doors closed, there was no outside noise to disturb sleep. Perfect.
It was somewhat noisy in the night from young people in the hotel on our floor. We could also hear people above us during the night. It was a small challenge to get up and down the stairs with our luggage. Luckily, while we're older, we're fit.

Really loved the balcony from our room. You could see the entire port. Great for people watching and relaxing with my spouse. Would stay again.
We were escorted by staff to our room, but we carried our own bags the entire way up quite a few stairs. At least an offer to help with our bags would have been nice.

No elevator and no one designated to assist with luggage. Many stairs even to the first floor (which is the second level). Must be strong and fit to handle this hotel but the room was lovely.

Great location - you can explore the old city and harbour area easily, walking to a large variety of restaurants and shops. The breakfast (served at a sister hotel just down the street) provided a great selection and was very tasty. I loved that the hotel is in an old building (but with modern conveniences!). Surprisingly quiet in the room given that the street below is very active at night.
In our particular room (each one is different) the entrance to the bathroom was a bit tight. But once you were in, the shower was fabulous!

The rooms were large and comfortable, and they had all the amenities. The decor was cool and modern. Cleanliness and service were top-notch. The breakfast was just down the street and it was incredible!
You can't drive to the hotel.

This hotel is in an excellent location in old town Chania - near shopping, food, bars etc and our room had a direct view of the harbor with a good-sized balcony. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were excellent and committed to our comfort. Every request was met with a smile. Breakfast at a sister hotel a block away was delicious. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend!!!!

It's a beautiful boutique hotel located less than a minute on foot from the Venetian port of Chania. We had a city and mountain view (it was snow-covered at the end of March). The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Tasty breakfast, helpful and friendly staff.
There was no elevator to the second floor, which added charm and exercise to the trip.
5 min walk to bus station, main road or parking.

Likes: view was amazing, the three doors were beautiful, it was lovely to sit in the bed and have the sea breeze and waves and Greek music coming up. Really nicely decorated room. The seabird wall decoration, painted ceiling and neat dresser. Also the height of the room was incredible! I love a tall ceiling.
Dislikes: 51 steps up to our room. Also the bathroom wasn’t the best - there is no fan or window so it is smelly. No kleenex. The jacuzzi was deafening and wouldn’t turn off, hard to control. No chairs on balcony.

Yes we liked it - the location was superb being right on the harbour with beautiful views of the Venetian buildings and the mosque as well as the lighthouse. Lovely restaurants even in the depths of winter.
We loved it but it was cold and the air conditioner wasn’t really up to the task of warming the room to a comfortable level as the room was huge with a high ceiling.

The staff was very accommodating and quick to respond. I lost my room key and they immediately sent someone to get me a new key at 3 in the morning. The location was amazing right in the heart of the venetian Harbor. Lots of restaurants, bars and a great view. I highly recommend this place, especially the King suite, it has the best view.
